Mozzarella Ham Stromboli

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
This is a good recipe however use better dough! You can buy dough balls at any grocery store. That way you won't get that chemically dough-in-a-can taste. Any dough will due really. I sometimes make my own in my breadmaker and use it for this or pizza. You can change up the ingredients if you want also. Hard Salami is great in this and I have also used other different Italian meats mixed. Over all, it is a simple, easy recipe. Again, I just suggest buying a pizza dough ball if you don't want to make it yourself. Just cut it the dough ball in half, and roll it as thin as you can. You can get two good stromboli crusts out of one good dough ball. Over all a good, easy stromboli recipe.

Mushroom Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2007
This was probably the best chicken Piccata I have made. I don't use mushrooms, however I liked the rest of your ingredients. I also changed just a couple things. I used a little butter, but mostly olive oil to fry the chicken. I added some garlic when frying the onions. I also doubled the sauce recipe, but only used 1 extra tablespoon of lemon juice. Finally I added a small jar of rinsed capers to the pot before reducing. It really came out wonderfully. I will absolutely use this recipe again. The only thing it needed was a little black pepper. Otherwise 5*+

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
DO NOT ADD MORE MILK...TRUST THE RECIPE. These were the best pancakes most flavorful pancakes I have ever cooked and I have been cooking since I was 10. If you change the recipe, then you would never see that these pancakes spread and rise to double their size (width and height)while cooking.

Polish Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2006
Good recipe, but my wife is right off the boat from Poland. They don't use olive oil or regular flour in their dumplings.. they use potato flour..these are supposed to be heavy potato flour dumplings. This recipe has been americanized but still pretty good.

Big Germans

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2006
Great recipe. A little too much butter to be healthy, but you can substitute olive oil for much of it and it still comes out fantastic. I only use about 2 tablespoons of butter now and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. I also use a teaspoon of REAL vanilla extract..yummy!
