Croissants

It was my first time to bake croissants and I must admit, It was a little tough. People told me that making croissants was hard, but I managed to do this easily. Though I didn't get the "layers" of the croissant properly, and it wasn't flaky at all, but I'm thinking that's because of my beginner baking skills. Everybody loved the croissants I made! I'll definitely make it again. A few tweaks I did: I didn't freeze the dough twice, I was on a hurry I sliced my butter using a cheese slicer and patted the butter to the dough. The butter melted though, so at the end, I was smearing butter

Fabulous Fudge Chocolate Cake

I must say this is the most moist chocolate cake I have ever eaten! Everybody absolutely raved about this cake! At first I thought it was too sweet so I didn't make the caramel frosting. It smelled so good while baking but when I opened the oven door, There wasn't much smell anymore. I even pinched at the corner of the cake, it tasted bland to me, so I decided to make the caramel frosting. Thinking it was a failure of a cake, I made cupcakes out of the extra batter to taste it. Lo and behold! IT TASTED GREAT! Even without the caramel frosting! Everybody at work loved the cake which has the frosting, and people at home loved the cupcake with/without frosting! It's an absolute hit and people can't get enough of it! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Sarah's Banana Bread Muffins

I added a teaspoon of vanilla and a dash of cinnamon. My boyfriend said it's yummy but a little too sweet. My mom, brother and aunt told me they were so yummy. So I'm torn between the comments but I think I'll cut back on the sugar next time :) I bet it tastes great with tea!

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

I halved this recipe and used margarine that has a butter like consistency. It turned out good. it's really fluffy. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's too sweet. I added lemon extract to suit my taste and it's still sweet, but non the less tastes good and has excellent consistency. It also requires a few handy ingredients. DEFINITELY A KEEPER! :)

Walnut Brownies

This brownie is so delicious and easy to make. I'm a beginner at baking and this is the only brownie recipe that turned out okay. I'm only giving it 4.8 stars because I tweaked the recipe a bit. I doubled the ingredients to fill the pan, and I used whole eggs, I also reduced the sugar and used unsweetened cocoa powder. I didn't increase the baking time and I let the brownie sit in the pan for an hour before cutting. It was still warm, moist and fudgy.YUM!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

I'm not that good at baking and every time I attempt to make oatmeal cookies they turn out underbaked/cooked. This recipe was easy to follow. They turned out great for me, but i tweaked the recipe a bit Instead of 1 cup each of brown and white sugar, I used 3/4 cup of each and added chocolate chips. I'm making them as a present for my boyfriend who will spend a lot for oatmeal cookies. I really hope he likes this. My mum took 2 already. Thanks for the recipe

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

this was very easy. i used to make pudding stove top and i had to mix a lot, but this recipe made everything so easy and quick.. mine turned out bitter that's my fault because i used 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder opposed to 1/3. anyway, i was able to rescue the recipe. i mixed a couple of tsps of confectioners sugar. i also mixed 1T vanilla with 1/2T raspberry syrup that i had lying around for a slightly berry taste. it's really good.
