Fruity Frozen PHILLY Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
Very yummy - great Summer dessert! I used crushed Oreos as my crust, which was a great combo with the raspberries. I will say, I wasn't paying attention, and if you add this to a "shopping list" it will tell you to get two 8oz packages of cream cheese (but you only need one, an 8oz package is 226g) and two Cool whip - but you only need one...so just be careful and pay attention to the recipe. Yum!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
YUM! put fresh (uncut) chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot and seasoned them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Then threw the diced onion, some diced celery and 2 cloves of fresh crushed garlic. Added the cream of chick soup and used 1 (14oz) can of chicken broth instead of water. (I think next time I may add a little bit of water too though). I let it sit for 4 hours on high and then added (1 can) biscuits and let it cook another 75 minutes. It was so yummy! I think this is a great starter recipe. You can add whatever you want (like peas, carrots, corn) and it will be delicious I'm sure! Thanks!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
Great taste -but WAY too much bread crumbs! Next time I will try crushed crackers and use only 1/3 - 1/2 cup. Also, I think it would be better in a deeper, smaller dish. It was such a thin layer in the 9x13 that it was a little dry.

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
Yummy, yummy, yummy! It was a cold and yucky day here yesterday and this was just what my husband and I needed! I threw in some leftover rotisserie chicken that I had and topped it off with bacon. Great with a big sourdough roll. Mmmmm. A new staple in our house!

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
Yum! I doubled the cheese and garlic because my husband and I love both... I used pepperoni slices and quartered them but I think next time I will use Italian sausage instead of ground beef. Great recipe, add your favorite toppings and you'll love it too!

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
I just used Pam in the baking dish instead of butter. I left out the mushrooms and the peas because my husband doesn't like either of them, but it was still delicious! I used about 4 Tbls Italian Style bread crumbs which gave it a great extra flavor. Next time I think I might add a little more milk and flour. It wasn't as creamy as I expected...but still yummy.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
I have to admit, I was VERY nervous about this. I had never made a cheesecake before, and have heard many horror stories. I read all of the "most helpful" reviews, and my cheesecake came out perfect! -I definitely recommend wrapping the bottom of the pan in foil and cooking it on a jelly roll pan. Place it in the oven and pour hot water into the jelly roll pan. After cooking 1 hour, turn oven off and leave it in there for 1 more hour. My cheesecake didn't sink or split. It was beautiful!

Farmer's Strata

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
I was really nervous about making this because of all the reviews about the cooking time and it coming out soggy, but the hints helped and it turned out great for me! Such a hit!! Thanks everyone! I did extend the cooking time to 90 mins and used sausage instead of ham.

I think there was too much nutmeg. They tasted yummy, but it was a little overpowering I will make this again, but maybe increase the cinnamon and decrease the nutmeg

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Delicious and beautiful! Make sure your berries are completely dry when you dip them. Chocolate melted really nice when you melt the butter first. Was a great inexpensive gift!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: May 12, 2006
Hints for the chips - use a big ziploc bag and put 1c sugar to 1 tbls cinnamon and DOUBLE the amount of chips! Hints for the salsa - I used sugar free apricot preserves and added blueberries for the color. You can make it a day ahead of time, but it takes a long time! (with all the chopping and making of the chips) Turned out great! It was a huge hit at my mexican potluck!!

Pad Thai

YUMMY! I couldn't find fish sauce in any of our grocery stores, so I used soy sauce, and it worked just fine. I doubled the sauce like everyone said, and I'm glad I did... but used about 1 1/2 tbls of red pepper and it was perfectly spicy. Oh! I also used lime instead of lemon. once again, YUMMY!

I went with everyone else - leave out the whole tomatoes. It doesn't need it. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! It was a hit and VERY easy to make...You have plenty to share which is good, because everyone wants some!

YUMMY! I certainly didn't serve 8 people though! (4 adults for us). I served it with 'Red-Skinned Garlic Mashed Potatoes' which were also wonderful!
