I've tried several chicken curry recipes on here and this one is very good. I shall take the advice of some other on here and add some potato next time.

Coconut Milk Shrimp Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
Very good soup although I altered the cooking method to cut out the two saute stages.

Dad's Pad Thai

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2013
This was great, I made a few adjustments to the cooking method but the flavors were good. I added shredded chicken but will try shrimp next time.

Spinach Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
The pack of phyllo I thought I had turned out to be puff pastry so I substituted and used Wanton wrappers instead. I find feta very salt so used cottage cheese and mature cheddar with the mozzarella, it worked out very well. The only butter I added was to moisten the sheets of pastry. I also omitted the vinegar.

Grill Dough

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2012
I have never dared cook pizza on the grill before but I did it last night and it was so easy and tasted amazing. The base is crispier than oven pizza but much more authentic, just like from a wood oven. Thank you for sharing, we will make all of our pizza this way in future.

Peppermint Meringues

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2011
I added a little red food colouring, peppermint essence and stirred in some of the crushed candy cane to the egg white just before spooning onto cookie sheet. Just as well they are fat free because they are just addictive.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

So simple and tasty, this is a regular in our house! Last time I didn't have salsa so used a spicy pasta sauce, that worked!

I used Stevia instead of sugar but this is 5* for the baking soda tip alone!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
These were awesome. My one regret was adding a cream cheese frosting as some posters did. It was way over the top and overpowered the flavours in the rolls. Will be making these again with just a simply glaze.

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
I've tried several bread recipes with varying degrees of success. This is by far the BEST. I made a loaf and 6 large buns, my husband didn't believe it was homemade bread.

PHILLY Creamy Rice, Chicken and Spinach Dinner

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
This was quick and easy, I didn't follow the recipe exactly as I already had cooked rice and chicken in my fridge but it was delicious. Also, I didn't have the salad dressing but used salsa, still good.

Fruitcake

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
I was a little confused by the dried mixed fruit which can vary depending on where you happen to be but I used raisins, sultans, cranberries and currents. I soak the fruit in booze over night first and wow, I only tasted a small piece but this was wonderful, needed 2 + hours though but I used a Bundt tin which may have made a difference. Thanks for sharing.

Easy Baked Chicken

The salad dressing I thought I had turned out to be Blue Cheese salad dressing. I used and it worked out fine.

Baby BLT

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
I made these as a starter to a dinner party but I used large beef tomatoes and served one half per guest. I scooped out the tomatoes and sprinkled in garlic powder as someone suggested. I also added a little plain yogurt to the mixture to lighten the taste of the mayonnaise.
