Savory, creamy, rich and complex. This soup is very good and very easy. I had some left over chunked butternut squash that I used for a different soup recipe (we did not like that one!) so I was looking for something that I could do with it, with other ingredients that I had on hand. I had already boiled the butternut squash, so followed the recipe, except I did not cook it all together for 20 minutes. I just put it all together, carefully measuring out the right measurements of squash and water. I put it all in the blender and had wonderful soup in about a minute. This is seriously like a five star restaurant soup recipe, it would be wonderful served in demitasse cups as a starter to a meal. Thanks for posting, I will use this recipe again and again!
