Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
this was a great base for a turkey burger...I kick it up a notch by adding some finely chopped mushrooms and I omit the eggs since I find it too runny and doesnt stick together as well as doing it without. I usually add a bit of my favorite sauce to it instead (red chillie sauce or a korean bbq sauce all taste really good in it.) I make these all the time and have even used it to make meatballs and they are a hit every time!!! Dont forget to top your burger with fried onions and mushrooms!

Sky High Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
This recipe works great! My British friend gave me some hints and tips though that make it work even better. Make sure the eggs are room temp, mix it all together and then let it sit in the fridge for a few hours. Make sure to give it a good wisking again before pouring it into piping hot (and I mean like smoking hot) oil. They coume out nice and big! If your making lots and you dont want them to fall flat, then take them out of the muffin tins and place on a cookie sheet in the oven to keep warm...they will start to get crispier on the outside though.

Cranberry Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
Awesome! I dont follow measurments so I went my own way and just eyeballed things, but I also added in a couple handfulls of cranberries to the sauce and I chopped some up finely in my meatballs. Made this for a potluck....gone were my meatballs (and lots of people saying "these are so good") whereas the other crockpot of meatballs was half full! lol

Fluffy Biscuit Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
Great recipe! Even my picky neighbour liked them! Instead of putting in muffin tins though, I kneaded into a dough with some cheddar cheese, then rolled and cut out into circles. They were super good and super easy!

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
REALLY delicious!!! Big hit with everyone!! But it definetly didnt yeild the 3 doz it claims....I got about 18 cookies the first time around. The second time I made them I changed a couple things slightly...I switched the quantities of the sugars and used more brown then white and I added more oats as I felt they were a bit "meatier" that way. And I added peanut chips in addition to the chocolate chips and I used crunchy peanut butter. They were soooo delish! My neighbour said "You have to make more of theses and tripple the recipe so I can have more."

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars II

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
Delish. I didnt put as much of the icing sugar in though...and I used chunky peanut butter cause I like the texture of it. But it was definetly family approved and Ive got more in the freezer (first batch didnt last long in this house!) right now which will be put in tins for christmas baked goods for family and friends

Lemon Cake

I made this for a co workers birthday...and lets just say, it was a huge HUGE hit. I colored the "icing" just like regular icing and decorated it like a regular cake!

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
Excellent!!! I made the One Bowl Chocolate Cake III from this site for the first time (which by the way is a delicious recipe!!)I didnt have enough bittersweet so I used 6oz bittersweet, 2 oz semi sweet. I covered with the ganache and then refridgerated. I whipped up the remaining into an icing (I would have to say I was skeptical it would whip up nicely but it did). Then topped the cake with dollops of whipped ganache with a strawberry in each one. Seriously, the whipped ganache was SOOOOOOO good...I rarely lick the mixer blades but today I did!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
