Ten Clove Garlic Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This is it!! If you are looking for a great marinade, look no further!! I followed recipe as closely as I could I thought I had worcestershire sauce but didn't, and I used minced garlic in the jar, I skipped the onions, and since I had only 1 1/2 to marinade, I used UNSEASONED meat tenderizer on the chicken, ribs, and T-Bones. I then grilled as usual, Everything turned out GREAT. Note: Also skip the added salt This a keeper!

Grilled Rib Eye Steaks

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
The steaks were definately tender and juicy. I didn't have a lot of time to marinate so I used UNSEASONED meat tenderizer and the steaks turned fantastic. It's a nice change of pace for steaks. It gives them s Teriyaki flavor.

Creamy Beef Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
I tried this recipe because I had most of the ingredients on hand. I skipped the corn and added lots of chopped onions, and chopped green and red peppers. Also I added a jar of sliced mushrooms and plenty of garlic powder and onion powder. I loved it, and my husband loved it. This recipe tastes like a creamy ground beef stroganoff. Simple and delicious.

Chicken In Sour Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This a very good, quick recipe. I've made this many times before, but I have never used sour cream or dry onion soup mix. What I did was to forget the browning, just added the chicken directly to pan,put in the oven, cook till slightly browned, drain the fat,add sour cream mixture,do not add salt, the soup mix has enough.return to oven, I added garlic powder and touch more black pepper. Then I added milk to thin the sauce and served over fluffy white basamati rice, just add a side of green beans,or broccoli a tossed salad, and you have dinner in no time at all.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
This was my first time making this type of dessert. the family loved it. they said it reminded them of a chocolate mousse type pie. It wasn't too sweet. Very nice presentation. Even though I arrived for dinner late, it was mostly gone when I left. The other desserts had only been barely touched! As one reviewer once said "Nothing says good, than gone!!!!

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
One of my sisters decided to have a sweet potato pie contest this Christmas involving all of sisters, 5 in all. I made this pie in record time of 8 minutes. I used canned sweetened sweet potatoes drained and followed the recipe exactly except I added more spices. I"ll give you one guess who won the pie contest. Yep, me hands down. My mother was from Mississippi and she recently passed away, and she made a sweet potatoe pie that was very similar to this recipe. since she was southern raised, she never had any recipes written down she would say use "use a pinch of this or that." I think I will honor her memory by making this recipe each year for the holdays. thank you for bringing back a small memory of my mother.
