About this Cook
I am a 33 year old mom of three who works full time and tries to keep a family from getting bored of the same old dish. I am always looking for something new and exciting to put on the table. My my husband and two of the children do not like vegetables so I am always finding new ways to sneak in nutrition. We love to go out have fun and are favorite time is when we sit down and eat as a family with good conversation about our day or the day to come.

We always have made everything from scratch. Most of the recipes we share have been passed down and modified a little each time to fit the families needs.
My cooking triumphs
I taught myself to make the secret gravy my godmother used to make by trial and error. And made lemon meringue pie on first try. was told hard to do
My cooking tragedies
My latest tragedy i must say was the most unexpected. Made an atomic cake for my friend. Was pressed for time......need to mark my sugar container. Accidently added pancake mix. Should have noticed. Note to self make the night before.

Tater Crisp Chicken
I followed other reviews for added flavor. I added my own touch of Italian seasoning. The chicken was good but not crispy enough. Will make again but may alter amount of potato flakes I use.

Alfredo Sauce
Not the best sauce I have ever had but nice and simple to make. The family was very pleased with the taste and will make again when short on time. Only problem when reheating left overs the oil separated. All in all I really liked this recipe.

Fresh Apple Cake
Just like my Great Aunt Billie made. I made two cakes because some people do not like the nutmeg but it brought back memories of going to my and Great Aunt Billie would bring this to the party grandpas house on his birthday. Thank you
