I have been cooking since I was about 9 years old. I was raised by my father, who ran a business and was often not home to make me dinner. I always enjoyed watching cooking shows on TV and reading about food. In recent years, I have become very health conscious and,although I still eat some red meat,I use mostly chicken, tofu and vegetables and nuts in my recipes.

Stir-frys, steamed vegetables with tofu and peanut sauce, soups and salads.

Russian-Jewish dishes such as cabbage soup, brisket, kasha, roast chicken, blintzes, potato latkes.
