Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
I literally had to freeze this to keep myself from eating it. I reduced the sugar to 1 1/2 cups like others suggested, otherwise did exactly as original poster in 2 9" bread tins. PERFECT at 325 for 35 minutes. Added lavender icing over the top.

EAGLE BRAND® Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
I did not care for this recipe. The taste was fine, but the texture was too smooth and the fudge never hardened. It got to a "firm ball" stage of candy. It is basically like candied peanut butter, not fudge. I would only use this again to make a peanut butter swirl for ice cream or filling in a cake.

White Chocolate-Candy Cane Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
This is delicious! I used a pre-made graham cracker crust and sub'd milk chocolate chips for the white chocolate. Very very good. I will defiantly make it again with the white chocolate.

Fresh Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
Very good, sweet & flavorful. I think I may leave some jalapeno seeds in next time to make it a little spicier. Added a can of black beans and kernel corn (both rinsed) and did not use jicama.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
This was very good! I only made a few substitutions based on our diet and what I had available. I used ground chicken, vegi-broth, tomato paste, and powdered gravy in loo of beef, beef broth, ketchup, and flour.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

This deserves 6 stars - at least! I prefer butter, so I subbed that for oil. Whole wheat flour and half of the sugar. Delicious!!

Amazing! I used this method for my first turkey - adding rosemary & basil. It was delicious and ugly - as promised!

Cowboy Cookies III

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
very yummy! i used all brown sugar, no white. I had the same problem as others, very thin flat cookies. Next time I will increase the flour by 1/2 cup and add an extra egg white.

this was very good. i used applesauce instead of apples (didn't have fresh apples on hand!) and paired it with the "plum pudding sauce" on this website.

Finnish Cookie Sticks

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
I rate this a 4 only because of the messy factor. I actually made 3 cookies as suggested, then mixed in my almonds in the dough. They took 12 minutes to cook and are delicious. They don't look as festive as the picture though, so I'm making a thin glaze frosting to put on top.

Gypsy Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
Very tasteful! I didn't have green pepper so I diced a golden delicious apple instead. I also added andouille sausage - diced and pan fried with apples before adding at the end.
