Baked Oatmeal II

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
I would cut the brown sugar in half if you do not add the cranberries; the tartness from the berries must cut down on the sweetness. Otherwise wonderful! Exactly what I wanted in terms of consistency, crunchiness and flavor.

Pork Chile Rojo (Pulled Pork with Red Chile Sauce)

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
The pork broke down more than I would have liked, so next time I will cook it shorter. Also, I would add a can of chilies.

Baked Fresh Cherry Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
The pie was very solid; I wanted to avoid a runny pie, but I would still add less tapioca next time. I would also cut out the almond extract; as another reviewer stated, it overwhelms the cherries. It tasted like an almond pie with a fruity texture.

Garlic Sauteed Artichokes

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
While delicious (eventually) the artichokes were absolutely NOT done in the recommended time. I just left them to simmer well after we had all finished dinner and checked on them about an HOUR later and they were overdone but at least they were done! Next time I will steam them like I normally do until they are almost done and then quickly sautée them afterwards.

Lemon Herb Barbeque Sauce for Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
Really popular with my entire family. Leftovers were wonderful cold in salad and pita sandwiches.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
Incredible. Spongy, sweet, perfect for any occasion. I would absolutely ignore the people who suggested adding water from the can of corn - recipe is perfect as is.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
I tried to cut down the recipe and it came out a mess. The neighborhood kids ate them anyway and loved them, but they were flat and about 3 inches in diameter. I guess my advice is do not try to cut the recipe! I made 8 dozen after the bad batch and they came out perfectly!

Chicken Katsu

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2006
Very easy, and delicious as chicken tenders as well. I agree with the reviewer who recommended lowering the temperature of the oil before frying the chicken.

Pasta with Spinach

Reviewed: May 17, 2006
Easy recipe, though not too flavorful (I had added an extra clove of garlic). No one in my family enjoyed it. I will not make this again.

Teriyaki Marinated Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2006
This is the first main dish I have ever created without anyone's help. It was easy and turned out great! Cooking time varied from that of the poster, but I guess that's normal =) . I will definitely cook this again!
