Me and my husband
About this Cook
I am a married mother of two. I am 25 years young. Cooking is my passion, it is one of the best ways that I have learned to express myself. It makes me feel great when I can prepare a wonderful meal for someone. Cooking for me is an art. I would one day like to own my own bed and breakfast and serve a medley of different dishes, from wild and exotic to warm and comforting. I am daily looking for new recipes. I enjoy trying new things.
My favorite things to cook
Italian food, for instance: Chicken parmesan, pasta, lasagna, tirimisu and anything else with robust flavor!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Biscuts and gravy southern style with lots of bacon grease. Beans, potatoes and cornbread. Peach cobbler. Chile Verde with beans and hamhock.

Awesome Green Beans
This recipe is really good, my family loves it. I used canned grean beans instead of frozen and I used the liquid from the can and omitted the water. I also tryed it with bacon instead of sausage and it was good like that also.

Old Fashioned Raisin Pie I
My grandma used to make half moon raisin pies. She would roll out small pie crusts about 8in in diameter and fold them over and pinch the sides, and they were delicious! This is the same recipe, only in one big pie instead of small ones. She didn't put vinegar in her raisins.
