Haven's Veggie Lasagna

This is my recipe, I should re-iterate that you are meant to layer the ingredients starting from the bottom of the list going up (start with step 19 and end on step 9). I'm not sure why it translated that way, hope it helps!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Excellent. I had to cut the recipe down to 2/3 of the original because I only had 2 cups of beans and it worked fine. I was surprised how much flavor they had and will probably never buy canned beans again! I didn't need 8 hours of cooking, though - mine were done in about half that time, and I only needed to add extra water twice. I also used a mixture of chicken and vegetable stock instead of plain water to begin with.

Country White Bread

This is my first success with white bread. It is, as others have said, slightly more dense than I thought it would be, but is still very good. I halved the recipe and brushed the top of the loaf with melted margerine before baking, which created a nice crust. Will make again.

Sun-dried Tomatoes I

HOW TO STORE: put the dried tomatoes in jars and then fill up with olive oil just to cover. This is where you can get creative and use infused oil or put some garlic cloves, basil, capers, rosemary etc in with them if you wish. I've seen other recipes that say to store them for a couple weeks before using. Hope this helps.

Lemon Broccoli Pasta

Very good, I used this as a side dish and wished afterwards that I had made more. I left out the lemon peel because my husband doesn't like it and used lemon juice instead. I will be making it again.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Great recipe, my husband said it's the *closest* to chinese restauant rice he's had (though he picked out all the peas). Very easy, only change I made was I added 1 tsp minced garlic.
