Pizza Dough III

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2012
This is a really good basic recipe. Very tasty. But there is one glaring error. It should read 3 cups of flour not 2. I have made it now 3 times and it is a hit with kids and adults alike. I topped one with tomato slices and basil leaves drizzled with a little olive oil and kosher salt/cracked black pepper. There was none left for lunch the next day. Try it for sure but be ready with that third cup of flour.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
This is a great recipe! The changes I make are simple to the tastes of my 6 kids who like a sweeter dish. I replace the onion with quartered apples and oranges and add 4 tablespoons brown sugar to the dry rub. Awesome!!!! I have also found that I can cut the cooking time down by an hour.

Talk of the Town SUPERBurgers

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
I should have saved the meat. I realized this was a mistake when I looked at 8 cups of crushed chips and 3 pounds of hamburger meat...but I went ahead. We had chicken that night.

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
This is a really yummy burger to grill. The only adjustment I made was to put the cheese in the center of the raw patty instead of mixing it through the meat. Makes a little surprise middle bite and I like a meaty burger without the distraction of cheese throughout. Very good recipe!

Hot and Sour Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2006
This is a very good rendition of the retaurant soup. To bring it closer to authentic we added more cornstarch until the right thickness. Added chile paste for heat by the quarter teaspoon and individuals added a bit more soy for saltiness. But a good base to start with. Nice!
