Janet's Famous Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
Awesome, awesome! I now have this down by memory I make it so often. The riper the banana, the better. If the peels get black, but your still not ready to use them, they freeze well. Just defrost for several seconds in the microwave and they're ready to use. Can't go wrong with this, even for a beginner.

Old-Fashioned Roasted Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
A+ I tested this recipe a number of times. They are wonderfully sweet and adicting as is. A few changes I made: replace the water with vanilla as already suggested; use the called amount salt in the mix, and add an even sprinkle of seasoned salt to each batch and stir before baking. This makes for a "sweet and salty" pecan that is hard to close your mouth to.

Peach Cobbler III

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2006
This was a fairly good recipe. I haven't made many peach cobblers, but my family liked this one. It was somewhat bready, and also I would suggest less liquid. I had to bake it for much longer, but it ended up rising properly, and came out with a nice brown crust.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2006
Sensational- using hommade broth from chicken, i put in all the salt called for and it was great. The noodles ended up being very overcooked (i will not precook them next time). I also added peas, carrots and lots of onions. A great keeper.
