Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
my first attempt at pumpkin pie from scratch and i do not need to look any further. the mix seemed very watery when i poured it in but it thickened up and was so delicious. i did need to bake it an extra 20 mins tho bc i made a deep dish version but it was amazing

Oatmeal Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
yummy! i love healthy, fruity muffins and always look for good recipes to make for the kids. i did sub apple sauce for the oil, added 1/2 a cup of wheat bran, and loaded in more blueberries (prob 1.5 cups) and i'm sure they will love these when they get home =) (i've already eaten 3!)

a nice taste overall. kids and hubby devoured them. mine did not stick to the sheets like others noted. had to bake them about 11 mins.

Pumpkin Protein Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2006
I wanted to comment on WANKO's comments that baking w protein powder "destroys" the protein... this is UNTRUE - it denatures it (changes the structure of the protein) but the amino acids remain the same... and baking is a better form of cooking w protein powder... as opposed to frying or other high heat methods...

Jacky's Fruit and Yogurt Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2006
GREAT muffin for moms that want to use up those leftover pieces of fruit from the kids! i changed it slightly, with a doubled recipe, i subbed 1 cup of flour for 1 cup of wheat germ, used whole wheat flour, halfed the sugar and used brown instead, then used chunky banana pieces, diced apple and a couple leftover yogurt cups (i think vanilla, rasp and blueberry) VERY thick batter but it makes a VERY moist muffin!

Bran Muffins III

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2006
after reading of the blandness from other reviewers, i decided to add 2 small ripe bananas and 1 cup of raisins, and these muffins turned out really nice. i also added 1/2 a cup of wheat germ for added nutrition. they are just sweet enough too. very nice for breakfast.
