Thai-Style Tilapia

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
This was delicious!!! I took the advice of some other reviewers and added curry paste in place of tumeric and was not at all disapointed! I love thai food and this definitely had good thai flavour. Don't skip the lemon grass!

This was really good! Would have been perfect with some veggies added in - maybe some bell peppers!

These are probably the cutest cookies I have ever seen, not to mention that they're delicious! I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out beautifully! So easy and so impressive looking!

Gourmet Thai Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
I kinda changed this...alot. I made my own crust (I like whole wheat) then just mixed the ginger, peanut butter, soya sauce, and oil together for the sauce. I drizzled the finished pizza with a little honesy and sprkinkled the chili peppers on top. It was delicious!

Pecan Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
These tasted pretty good but there was too much wine and it made the topping a little mushy. Next time I'll use half the amount of wine! Also, it turned a weird/unattractive grey color after baking...

Camembert Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
Not my favourite. I agree tht the sauce was kind of bland. My parents, on the other hand, LOVED it. They saved the extra sauce and used on fish later in the week. To me it was kind of boring. I probably won't make this again.

Trinidad Stewed Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2006
I made this for my parents over the weekend and they both loved it. I omitted the water and used an entire can of coconut milk instead. It turned out very creamy and spicy-sweet.

Brazilian Chicken with Coconut Milk

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2006
Wow, everytime I think I've found my favourite recipe on this site another one comes along that's even better! This was amazingly good and I want to make it everyday! I also used canned diced tomatoes and cut my chicken into smaller chunks. It turned out like a curry...sooo good. I'll definitely make this one again!

Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2006
This looked really awful. It was pretty lumpy. Only my boyfriend ate it. He tells me the pork turned out really tender. I'm not sure if I'd ever make this again. If I do I'll add water to make it a little less...chunky.

Spicy Beef Curry Stew for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
I'm giving this 5 stars even though I changed it so much just because it tasted so good! I really hate runny curry so I added the flour for the browing as suggested but then also added a little corn starch and a can of tomato paste. I also added baby carrots. It turned out perfectly. Mmm I can't wait to make it again!
