Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice Soup

I grilled my chicken breasts after marinating them in balsamic dressing on my George Foreman grill. All drippings were added. I decreased the amount of water to about 2-3 cups and added carrot, fresh parsley and doubled the mushrooms (portabellos). I used real wild rice and the color is much more of a burgundy than the picture on the recipe. I used a Reisling based on other comments, lightened and brightened it right up. I'm the Soup Nazi and this one made in the recipe box.

Zucchini Alfredo

Yet another Oh MY!! Added slivered carrots, chopped broccoli, artichoke hearts & chopped onion; finished with Asiago cheese & white wine in the sauce. Used some cajun spice and lots of cracked pepper. Was great last night, but today, it stepped into the next world. Thank YOU!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Oh My!! Added extra zuc, apple sauce, spice, needed to add 1/2 C flour extra because it was so loose, but cooked up perfect texture in 11 x 13 pan. It was gone before it was cooled. I will plant extra zuc's next season, there simply isn't enough!!

Ginger Snap Cookies

This recipe is good, but it can be seriously pumped up into an adult taste treat. Use 1 cup fresh minced ginger in addition to 1 cup crystalized ginger, decrease powdered ginger by 1 teaspoon and replace with fresh ground black pepper, add 1/2 teaspoon cloves. Amazing. If this is really for adults, macerate the fresh ginger in a couple of tablespoons of vodka, brings out yet another level of flavor. My next twist will be to add cayenne pepper, haven't tried it, but just wait....

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Added some black pepper and finely chopped crystalized ginger as well as the required powdered ginger. Wow, rock the house. They cut perfectly and we decorated each for a family member or friend to look like that person. Hit of the holidays. My daughter had me make 4 of her in her little pokadotted bathing suit. Too cute.

Creamy Banana Bread

OKAY!!! Hold the Recipe..It's zucchini season and substitute 3 cups of grated zucchini and/or yellow squash in place of the bananas and replace oil with Apple Butter and OMG...You have the most amazing zucchini bread!!! otherwise, Excellent recommendation with the 2 cups bananas, extra egg, flour, soda and powder. I used oil instead of butter or margarine and used Chinese 5 Spice instead of cinnamon, popped it into 9x13 pan and watch out, Momma's more popular than ever. Totally rocked and cleaned house at my friends shower. Thanks so much.

Chocolate Clouds

I too skipped the chips, added the instant coffee and made large 2 1/2" diameter cookies. Baked for 1 hour 10 minutes. I live in the south and have had issues with meringues before, these worked well on this rainy day. They do smell incredible and I fully understand the tempatation to pull them out early. Sneak one if you must, but resist the early pull. Bon Apetite!!
