London Broil II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2006
Great marinade. As I was mixing this up I was not very impressed. However it is wonderful right off the grill. I didnt have soy sauce, so I used terriaki (sp?) sauce and I did add brown sugar. Great flavor! First time I have ever cooked london broil and the family loved it. Thanks!

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
GREAT! The only thing better would be to hand make your raviolis at home. I use beef ravs, the cheese ones tasted funky to me. I also add crushed red pepper flakes to the bread crumbs. I great fresh parmesan on top of them before serving and make my own homemade marinara for dipping. Im from St. Louis and like taking this to people's homes here in Phoenix to give them a taste of THE HILL....

Shrimpcargot

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
EXCELLENT! So easy to make too! I took Sunny's suggestion and added flat leaf parsley for color and freshness. I would highly recommend NOT cooking the mushrooms ahead of time as someone suggested as they cook up nicely just the way the recipe is. My girlfriends gobbled them up then broke out a loaf of crusty bread and sopped up the leftover scampi juices. Thanks Ambibambi!

Cilantro Serrano Cream Sauce

LOVED this. Used as a dip but this would be great on fish like others have suggested. I am going to change it up a little. Use sour cream next time and roast the serranos with onions. YUM!

Lime Cilantro Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2009
Too lime-y for me but that is an easy fix! I will cut lime by half. Glad to find this and it was great with my Black Bean/Pork Tenderloin Chili. I put a couple scoops of rice in a bowl then ladled some chili on top. Ty for the recipe!

Fantastic! I did everyones advice and only used 1/4 c sugar. Start there and add more to suit your taste. It is still really sweet. Thanks for the recipe!

Thai Beef Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
This was EXCELLENT! I did only use half the vinegar it called for, per reviewers recommendations. And omitted salt even with using the low sodium soy sauce. Next time I think I will throw a couple Tablespoons of honey in the dressing to sweeten it just because I love sweet and savory. THIS IS A KEEPER!!!!!!

Michael's Foccacia Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
GREAT! HOWEVER....mine dough took one hour and 30 minutes to double in size and I stay true to the doubling. Im not good with baking but I know it is a science so I waited and waited and waited. Maybe it was because I live in the desert at sea level, but whatever the reason let that dough rise. It was fantastic, thanks for the recipe and I look forward to making this again and again. (oh and I didnt add onion at all, sorry, but still great!)
