Slow Cooker Pineapple Pork Roast

This was very tasty and so easy to make! I will deintitely make again. Husband liked it and the kids ate it and didn't complain--so it's a keeper in my book! I did add some brown sugar to the pineapple cranberry mix--we like everything sweet! It deserves 10 stars for how easy it was to make!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

This is a very easy cheesecake to make. I made it for a friend's birthday and everyone seemed to love the taste. However, I was somewhat disappointed that even after following the directions to a tee and doing a water bath--the cheesecake had a HUGE crack!!! Definitley NOT very pretty! I will definitley make again but not cook as long as the edges also turned a little too brown--I am sure it's just my oven!!!!!! :) Overall a very easy and delicious cheesecake--just wish I could figure out what to do to keep it from cracking! Any suggestions are appreciated!!! :)

Cinnamon Roasted Sweet Potatoes

I liked these sweet potatoes but still LOVE the old fashioned candied sweet potatoes which of course are slathered in butter and brown sugar. I am sure these are a much healthier alternative. Easy enought to make but I had WAY to much oil?? I would definitely cut back on the oil and just moisten the potatoes with it. I didn't use the lime juice--didn't have any but perhaps that is the secret ingredient? I may make again but cut back on the oil. Thanks for a good recipe!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

This was very good and my husband who doesn't like stuffing said this was good--which is the ultimate compliment. My 7 and 3 year old would not touch--thinks it may be a little fancy for some little ones. I did not add the liver, added a LOT more broth which you will definitely need to do if you like your stuffing moist and I baked early in the day--let the flavors meld and just reheated for dinner. Not difficult at all to make and very dellicious--just remember to add more broth if you don't like dry stuffing! :)Thanks for a very good recipe.

Eggnog Cheesecake III

This is a 5 star cheesecake but I only gave it 4 stars because it just didn't take "eggnoggy" at all to me or my guests. I followed the recipe to a t except I used a standup mixer and extra nutmeg and baked with a water bath. The water bath helped with the cracking but still had one big crack. It tasted rich and delicious and I will certainly make again but was disappointed somewhat that it did not taste more like eggnog---next time I will follow another reviewers advice and add more eggnog. Overall it was a delicious treat on our holiday day!!!!! Seasons Greetings and thanks for a good recipe!!!

Oreo™ Cookie Bark

If there is any way to screw up a candy recipe, rest assured I can find a way!!! HOWEVER, this recipe is awesome and not even me could screw it up!!!!!! I took the advice of another poster and used Oreo Mint Cookies and topped with red sugar--they look so festive, I can't wait to take them to my cookie/candy exchange tomorrow--I am sure no on will believe that I made this!!! What's even MORE amazing than it being easy (only 2 ingredients) quick and pretty--it TASTES good!!! Imagine!!! Thanks so much for this recipe--I will be making it again soon!!!

Holiday Chicken Salad

This was easy to make and delicious! Definitely better after it sits for awhile. I did not add the green pepper b/c we are not fans but good without it! My husband said it was a "keeper" and my 7 year old even ate it--my 3 year old would touch it but that doesn't mean a thing! I think with the nuts, onion and cranberries it may be a little too adventurous for "some" young childrens palettes???? Thanks for posting -I will be making it again in the near future!

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

I made these into muffins for my daughter;s birthday at school. I made extra and not a one came home!!!! They are delicious and a big hit with kids---I left out the coconuts and cherries--can't wait to try it with those!!! Two thumbs up-thanks for the recipe!!! It made 24 muffins and I cooked for 45 minutes.

Sauerkraut Casserole

I am in shock! My 3 year old tried this and asked for more!! He is the world's pickiest eater other than my 6 year old who did not like it--but that means NOTHING! LOL! I loved this--did rinse and drain the sauerkraut, cut back on the pepper and used real bacon bits and petite diced canned tomatoes ( I am lazy!)--this was AWESOME!! I loved it and will make again soon--will cut back on sugar next time just to reduce calories but it was great and I enjoyed it sweet! I am German and this is the real deal!!! :) Thanks for a great recipe!

Blackberry BBQ Sauce

I used this recipe on Easter with a 2.5 lb pork tenderloin in the crockpot. My family didn't hate it but they didn't love it either. It very well may have been the pork tenderloin, or perhaps I screwed up when I doubled the sauce--but for some weird reason the sauce had an odd aftertaste--a little bitter????? It was very easy to make and considering there are so many rave reviews, I will make it again!

Cheesy Potato Casserole

Very easy to make and delicious!!! Certainly not a health food but really good for special occasions. I took other reviewers suggestions and used 1/2 mayo and 1/2 sour cream-it was delicious. I thought my kids would go crazy over this but neither one seemed to care for it (they're 6 and 2 so who knows) but hubby and I loved it!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

I was really excited about making this recipe due to to all the 5 star ratings. No question that is was VERY simple to make the night before --I followed directions to the letter and it turned out nicely but my family just didn't care for the taste (sorry)--I will make it again but take other suggestions and add some chiles,onions,etc--I guess as a Texan I think everything has to have some spice in it!!!!! The taste was not bad but just a little on the bland side for my family's tastebuds!! Thanks for a very easy to prepare recipe!!!

Pecan Snack

I would give this recipe 10 stars if I could!!!! My 6 year old daugher and I made these for her class for Texas Day--we were asked to make something with pecans so this was perfect!!! I did follow other reviewers advice and used 1 cup of sugar and a tbs of cinnamon--also made a double batch!! WOW--they were awesome and made the house smell great!! They tasted so good we could not stop eating them--I feared there would be none left for my daughters class!!!!! LOL!!! Thanks for a great and EASY recipe!! I just needed to add something--I was at my daughters school today and was BOMBARDED by the teachers AND kids wanting this recipe!! It was a huge hit--even with 6 year olds!!!!!! Thanks!!!

Make Ahead Breakfast Casserole

I hate to be the spoiler here but my family did not care for this casserole!! In all fairness-I made with all reduced fat ingredients and I am sure that affected the outcome. However, we did not like the croutons--they seemed soggy and not very tasty?? Even thought I love spinach and my famiy doesn't, I thought it would be okay since it was mixed with lots of other ingredients but I think that if you don't like spinach--you should leave it out or not make this casserole. I am sorry we didnt care for it--I was really excited about the reviews!!!

Italian-Style Shredded Beef

I thought this was pretty good and certainly very easy--which I loved! I did add some minced garlic but other than that followed the directions to a tee--it was good on buns with reduced fat provolone. It's pretty healthy--only 4 ww points for the meat but I do agree it's pretty salty--will cut back on the bouillion next time!

Chinese Cold Pasta Salad

I didn't want to rate this recipe b/c it wouldn't be fair to the original poster however I wanted to share my experience so no one else would make the same mistakes I did!!!! I tried to lighten this recipe with whole wheat fettucine and reduced fat PB--and while I added more fiber and reduced the calories--I could not eat the salad. I will make again and follow the original recipe and I am sure it will be delicious!!! I have lightened up many recipes with great success but this was NOT the case with this one!!!!

Cowboy Skillet Casserole

This was a really easy to make delicious dish! My 2 year old and husband kept saying "Mmmmmmm" with each bite!!! I followed directions exactly except used very lean groud beef and did add a little chili powder--it is a keeper. Made with lean ground beef--7% fat--it is only 7 weight watcher points for a hearty serving. Thanks for this recipe!!!! :)

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

No question --this is super easy and as a mom of 2 small kids--I will certainly make again. I followed the recipe exactly minus the marsala wine and it was delicious--and I did sprinkle the chicken with a little garlic. I thought the chicken was very moist and the sauce was great--I spooned it over my green beans. Also--very healthy--only 5 weight watcher points for a filling serving!!!!! A keeper!

Chicken with Sausage and Dried Fruit

I love the fact that this recipe was very easy and healthy. I personally did not like the end result--I agree with another poster that the sausage flavor kinda drowned the flavors of eveything else. The chicken was however, extremely moist and I will always use frozen chicken breast when using the crock pot--it worked great. Even though I was not a huge fan of the flavors of this recipe my husband came home really late and ate it reheated in the microwave and said he loved it!!!!!

One Pot Tuna Casserole

I love that this recipe was so easy but it was a little bland for my family's taste. I think with a little tweaking it will be a keeper! I did cut back on the noodles from 16oz to 12 and that was a good thing--can't imagine having any more than that. Next time will use another can of soup, tuna and more cheese with some spices. Very easy and quick!
