My family loved these cookies. I'm making a batch to send back to college with our daughter. They stay soft and delicious.

Easy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2003
These were OK at best. They were a little too hard to get out of the pan then would fall to pieces in my hand. The flavor was a little bland. My daughter wouldn't eat them. Don't think I'll make these again.

Cracker Candy

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
I have made this "candy" for years. No one can believe it's made with cheap saltine crackers. It always dissapears and everyone wants the recipe. Be careful, it is addictive!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
The recipe is quick and easy, but the flavor is not that good. They are just, OK. They were quite dry the next day. I won't make these again.

Adrienne's Tom Ka Gai

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
We love this soup!! My friends love it, too. They had to have the recipe. I used ground lemon grass from the spice section of my grocery store. It works great. I saute the onions first then add the other ingredients following the recipe. I like my onions well done. Be brave, try this soup. It's easy and delish!!!!!!!

Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2002
These fresh spring rolls are delicious! Don't be intimidated by the rice paper wrappers. Soak them one at a time in warm water until they are JUST soft then remove it to a paper towel and fill. The wrap will continue to soften. By the time you are finished adding the ingredients, it will be ready to roll. If you don't have ALL the ingredients called for in this recipe, please don't let that stop you from using what you do have and enjoying every bite.

We love this dish! Friends for dinner loved this dish. It is simple and quick. Tastes like you worked harder than you did. Double the recipe so you can have more.

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2002
I read a lot of the reviews so I added extra Old Bay. These did not taste like crab cakes! They tasted like OK zucchini cakes. Add some crab to the zucchini and they might work.

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2002
I was so excited to try these cookies since they have cream cheese in them. I was so dissap- pointed when I ate one. They were greatly lacking in flavor.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2002
This is the best base for a zucchini bread I've ever had. I changed it some so my daughter would eat it. I left out the cinnamon and added milk choc. chips. To make it more healthy, I added 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 applesauce. I took this to a church dinner and one little girl ate 5 pieces and another ate 6.

Cherry Dessert

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2002
I was looking for the dessert I loved to eat as a child at all the church potlucks. This is the closest I've found. I loved it! Now, I take it to potlucks.

Restaurant-Style Spinach Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2002
My husband and I really liked this dish. I used cream of mushroom soup instead of celery. I also melted only half the butter and cooked the onion in it before adding the other ingredients. I don't like raw onions which I think these would have been because the dish comes together so quickly. I don't think cutting down on the butter hurt it one bit. I will certainly make this again.

Spinach and Artichoke Au Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2002
I agree that the marinated artichokes did not blend well with the flavor of the spinach mixture. I think the regular artichokes in the can will not be so overwhelming. I'm going to try this recipe with mushrooms instead of artichokes. My husband and liked it but think we will love it with the change I've suggested.
