Great idea! Not having a grill, I took other's suggestions and baked this in the oven instead. I used a Pyrex dish and baked for 30 mins with foil on top, then 15 mins after removing the foil. I used Italian-flavored turkey sausage, which stayed nice and moist. I also added 2 minced cloves of garlic and since I used marsala cooking wine instead of water, I omitted the salt. I also cut the potatoes in smaller chunks - - next time I'll put them in the dish first to be closer to the juices. Very tasty and the house smelled great. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!
