Cordon Bleu Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2006
Really great!... liked the creamy sauce. Used mozzarella cheese instead of swiss. The cheese will run out if you don't tack up the sides of the chicken breast. One thing that helps is if you fold the ham around the cheese, and then wrap the ham/cheese square in the chicken. Less cheese oozes out! Will definately make again!

Creamy Pesto Chicken and Bow Ties

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
I thought this was ok. I was really excited about it bc of the reviews, but thought the soup over powered the pesto flavor and almost left it bland.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
I had to give this three stars bc I think the original recipe was ok. I followed other reviewers advice and added brown sugar (splenda brand) and light butter to taste. Without the brown sugar and butter, I think this sauce was too tangy/biitter. With the changes, it was definitely 4.5 stars!

Tabbouleh III

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2012
I can't believe the reviews for this recipe. I realized most people are altering the recipe. My rating is for the recipe AS IS. The reason I gave it two stars is because I like the ingredient list, however, the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and garlic portion I think is way off. Mine tasted like straight lemon juice and was extremely soggy. I had to drain the liquid and change the amounts of everything to make it some-what edible. I will not make this again

This was ok for me. I didn't care for the taco seasoning in the sour cream. I made it exactly as written.

Marinated Tuna Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2011
WOW!!!! This was great! I don't usually eat fish but my husband loves it. NOW I love tuna steak thanks to this recipe. Only thing I did was add 1 tblsp of Basil to it and let marinade for about 9 hours. Thanks for such a wonderful addition to our recipe collection!

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
EXCELLENT RECIPE! I did this by hand, followed the ingredients exactly, and followed the other reviewers as to how to do it without a bread machine. (I really need to get a bread machine... it's so much easier!). Thank you for such a delicious bread!

Quick Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
FANTASTIC! I used this recipe to make a low fat, low sugar cake. Followed the recipe exactly with these low fat alternatives: substitute sugar with splenda and substitute vegetable oil with no sugar added applesauce. Nutrition Info for cake this way is approximately 130 calories and 3 grams of fat per slice. Cake made 8 slices.

Awesome Egg Salad with a Kick

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
THIS IS AWESOME! My Light Substitutions were: Miracle Whip instead of Mayo, fat free sour cream instead of regular, turkey bacon instead of real bacon, and I had to use ground mustard because i had no dijon in the house. I also added two tblsp of sweet pickle relish! It was awesome! The bacon idea was great! Thank you!

Byrdhouse Dream Salad Dressing

THIS WAS AWFUL! I followed the recipe EXACTLY and can't understand the rave reviews. I think the sesame oil may ruin and overpower the taste, but I won't try again to figure it out. =(

I too thought this was really bland. I added an Onion soup packet and that really brought out the flavors! It was awesome then!

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
FOLLOWED RECIPE EXACTLY AND THEY WERE AMAZING! I did as others stated and refrigerated dough for about 30 mins to keep it from being sticky. (Although I don't think it was that bad without refrigerating.) I used a melon baller to measure out a heaping scoop of each cookie. Made them into balls, placed on cookie sheet, and then pressed down slightly with bottom of glass to flatten a little. I kept mine about 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick. So chewy! Excellent flavor! I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE THESE AGAIN!

Loved this! I used a little bit more sugar based on the reviews. I also don't have a bread maker so followed another review to make it by hand. I love how dense it was! Will definately make this again
