I relocated frequently as a child and young adult and was able to experience other cultures and cuisine. There is always something new to learn and I have my ears and eyes wide open.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cookies with the kids at Christmas time. The Rest of the year they assist in thier half aprons. We also make some mean looking pumpkins every Halloween and use each part of the pumpkin.

Sucessfully Duplicated several of my restuarant Favorites.
My cooking tragedies
I have had 4 or 5 kitchen fires and ironically ended up with a career in the Fire Prevention Business.

Garlic Lovers Beef
Smell sneaks out of the oven after about an hour and oozes all over the house, folks start flockin in literally. I believe it could use less oil but it was fork tender . I used two 14 oz cans of chopped tomatoes , one of which was Orginal Rotel. I also added about 1 TBSP each of Italian Seasoning and Dude Dust, which can be found at . I also drizzled in about 5 TBSP of the Black Olive Brine. This meal developed perfectly in my Cast Iron Dutch Oven .

B.L.A.T. Wraps
These are simply put, delightful anytime of the day! I eliminated the hardship of preparing bacon by baking it in the oven in a glass casserole dish at 375 for 25 minutes, wah lah! :) Thank you!

Spicy Tortilla Roll-Ups
Karen, these are super! I rolled them all up and they were easily toted in the RV. It was a great addition to the buffet table once we reached our destination. YUM! Thanks!!!
