Healing Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2013
This soup was great but I admit that I used vegetable broth (vegetarians) and added 5 carrots, 3 potatoes, and 3 stalks of celery to it, along with some sriracha sauce as I like to spice things up. I was worried at the amount of cabbage but once it all mixes in there, it's perfect! Thank you for this recipe - even my hubby, who isn't a big fan of cabbage, gobbled down two bowls and asked to have this put into the regular rotation.

Baked Ziti I

This was excellent! I was worried about the sour cream and lack of ricotta but it was great. I did add some Italian seasoning and garlic to the sauce mix, just personal preference. Thanks! Oh, also - we'e vegetarian so we subbed "fake" meat for the ground beef. Nobody notices the difference.

Whole Grain Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
I have just recently ventured into the world of "flaxseed meal" and "wheat germ" so I was a little hesitant but, oh man, am I glad I tried these! These are amazing - so good, I even eat them without any syrup. I did make a huge batch and froze them for quick weekday breakfasts. Thanks!

Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2012
This is soooo good! Hearty, satisfying, and interesting to the taste buds. I did use some of the other reviewers' suggestions and used coconut milk instead of the heavy cream, added garam masala and turmeric, and threw in some garbanzo beans to add some protein... even my picky kids (ages 3 & 5) liked it!

Kielbasa and Kidney Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
This is so good and easy enough to whip up after work on a weeknight. I generally leave out the green pepper (just a matter of preference) and serve with pasta or rice to make it stretch.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Awesome - didn't change a thing. My husband requests this often and it's soooo easy, I can whip it up one day and it feeds us for three days.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2006
WOW! This recipe is awesome, even without having all of the ingredients - I didn't have any marjoram. I've used the Lipton dry onion recipe from the back of their box and I thought that was great, but this was even better! I just made it and sampled a few pieces - I can't wait to call my husband to the dinner table! I will do this again and again, thank you.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

This was soooo yummy! My husband and I both love this recipe. I'm not real big on ketchup, so I mix it half and half with A-1 for a little zing. Delicious!
