Easy Bacon and Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
This was my first time making quiche and my boyfriends first time eating it. I made it for breakfast with a few variations. I omitted the onions (my boyfriend doesn't like them), used chedder and evap milk instead (its what I had on hand) and used cooked bacon. It was really good except that it overflowed, luckily I had a pan under it. Next time I will only use three eggs.

Carnation® Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
These came out absolutely perfect....I used 2% Carnation for the 1st time and they taste just wonderful. I also warmed up the milk in the microwave and I think it helped because everything just melted. They are perfect and very smooth.

Ultimate Party Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
This is one of my favorites. My Mom used to make these all the time. My brother named them red juicy meatballs when he was just a little kid. My Mom serves these as a meal with mashed potatoes and green peas. Any other way and my brother won't eat them.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
These cookies were great. I made a few changes based on the reviews; 1/2 cup white and brown sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and baking soda. They came out great and were so easy. You just have to remember to let them completely cool before attempting to take them off the cookie sheet, they are very soft when you initially remove them from the oven.

Pig Picking Cake II

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
This is one of my absolute favorite cakes. My mom has made it for years. This was my second time making it and it came out great. The only change I made was in apprearance. I frosted the entire cake and put coconut on top as well. I served it for my boyfriends birthday and he just loved it.

Bread Pudding I

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2009
I love bread pudding and this recipe was great and quite simple based on the fact that I am not a cook and definitely not a baker. I added pecans and I also let the bread mixture sit in the wet mixture in the bowl before putting back into the baking dish which I sprayed with butter-flavored pan. This recipe is so easy and my boyfriend (my guinea pig) and I loved it and I will definitely be making it again.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2006
I loved this recipe. It was so easy. I altered it a bit by not adding the beans (not a bean lover) and adding cooked chicken breasts that I cut up and browned with onions. It is great and I will prepare it again and again. Thanks
