Sopapilla Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
Very yummy, I can't stop eating it. I bought extra cream cheese and crescent rolls because they were on sale...will be making this again very soon. I did double the filling as others recommended. Try this, you will be glad you did!!

YUMMY!! I followed the recipe exactly as written. After reading some reviews I did refridgerate the dough between batches and I let them cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes. I will definately make these again and again!

Just finished eating my third one!!! These are very very good. I didn't have any white chocolate, but I will make sure I do have some when I make my next batch on friday to take to my office for our mandatory training day. I bet these will make the dreaded day better!!

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2006
WOW!! I made this yesterday and it is as good as all the reviews say! I read through quite a few of them to get some tips. I popped my popcorn on the stove, and I kept it warm in the oven(that was the best tip of all, it make the caramel spread out much easier). I used a large aluminum rectangle roasting pan sprayed with Pam. When it was cooling I gently shook the pan a few times until it was completely cooled. I am going to use this for my son's class' halloween treats for school this year. I am also going to make up Christmas tins for my family and friends. Nest time I am going to try using half the buter to see if there is a difference. Thanks for the great recipe that I will be using for years to come!!

Boiled Raisin Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
I know I have a winner when my picky 7 year old is not talking but eating instead. I wasn't surprised when my not so picky 2 year old was munching away. My co-workers raved also. The only thing I canged was I bakend it in a bundt pan and added a glaze when it was cooled for presentation. I will make this cake again!!

Dutch Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
I think that these turned out great! I didn't modify the ingredients at all, but I did modify the process of making them. I flattened them with my hand and then used a round cookie cutter to shape each cookie. During the last 5 minutes of baking I carefully placed the chocolate chips on the cookies to ensure that they were melted so they would spread evenly. Doing it this way takes a little more time but I think the end result is worth it (as you can tell by the photo). I am going to try these in heart shapes and maybe use mint or orange extract instead of vanilla for Valentines day for my son's 2nd grade class.
