Tasty and easy classic recipe. Brings me back to the 1970's! I made this as the recipe stated. Next time I make this I might add some onions and or celery. I love these recipes that you can monkey around with. This is wonderful as written.

Amish Meatloaf

This recipe has gotten such good reviews but we did not care for it. Both the meatloaf and the sauce were much too sweet. We needed to bake it for 90 minutes. The bacon on top seemed like a good idea but seemed out of place and never really got crispy. We won't be having this again.

Bacon Cheese Potatoes

These potatoes are quite good. I used 8 large size potatoes and added salt and pepper. I thought they were a bit dry but I think it was because of the large potatoes. Next time I will use less potatoes and try chedder cheese cubes or crumbles instead of the processed cheese.

Simple Taco Soup

Our family enjoyed this very much! I had to search for this recipe having made it several months ago but neglecting to save it. I let it simmer for 1 hour to let the flavors meld. Due to the additional simmer time I added 2 cups of water to allow for evaporation. Definitely more of a chili vs soup. We garnish it with sour cream and Fritos brand corn chips. Very tasty. Chicken Caesar Pasta

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe is simple but still very tasty. The dough was easiy to work with and the cookies spread out perfectly. This is the best basic chocolate chip cookie recipe I have tried.

Asian Coleslaw

My husband and I both thought this recipe was a fair at best. I have used other asian salad recipes that I prefer. It was a hassle to have to buy three different types of cabbage. Don't think that I will be making this again.

Chocolate Cherry Cake II

Just didn't care for this recipe. Made following directions although I ended up baking for an extra 5 minutes. The cake sank in middle which then caused the frosting to collect in the middle. Cutting and serving were a mess. Will not make this again.

Tuna Noodle Casserole

This is great tuna casserole! I doubled the recipe and cooked it in a 9x13 casserole so I added 5 minutes to cooking time. Pimentos are not our thing so left them out. Easy recipe that is definitely a keeper! Thanks

Chococonut Chip Cookies

Wonderful! I have no idea how many cookies I got because they disappeared so fast. I had a bit of trouble getting the cookies off of the cookie sheet after they had sat for 5 minutes. But I had baked them about 2 minute longer than stated. They were extra crunchy like we like them. Maybe I will try and grease the cookie sheet next time. This one is a keeper. Thanks Reena!

Chocolate Eclair Cake

I made this for a potluck at work to rave reviews, and it was so easy! Its best after sitting, so make it the day before. As stated in previous reviews, I would also make 1 and 1/2 times the topping just to reduce the frustration with spreading out the icing. Definitely a recipe I will be keeping. Thanks Linda!

Bev's Chocolate Pie

This pie did not go over well with any of my family. It was too sweet and brownie like. I was also unsure how long to bake it. The recipe did not state this except to say "when it no longer wobbles". I found it frustrating to have to keep checking and not having some idea of how long it might take. It would be nice to have a range of time so you can then begin checking it at the minimum time. I guess this just wasn't what I was expecting it to be.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

This is a very nice recipe for potato salad that I plan on making again soon. I used "light" mayonaise, & I cut the potatoes before cooking. This way I don't have to allow them to cool, and they are also easier to cut. Thanks Donna for a great recipe!

Peach Whirligigs

My husband and I absolutely loved this peach dessert recipe. Definitely will save this one to make again in the near future. One note; could not find the baking temperture so baked it at 350 degrees. Turned out fantastic!
