About this Cook
I live at home with my soon to be husband. I'm 22 years of age, expecting my first baby on the 13th of june 2006!! very excited. Currently not working at the moment, so i tend to spend all my time in the kitchen, mixing up all kinds of new ideas & getting my Partner(Craig) to try them when he gets home from work. Bless Him!
My favorite things to cook
I love chicken, so i tend to use it a lot in my meals. At the moment i'm hooked on making Chicken wraps. I like making pasta dishs & soups. At the moment i crave chips so every dish i make i have a bowl of chips with it. I also love making pastry tringing different things to put in it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
sunday roast is the best, all the family come together which is really nice as we don't stay in touch that much, but once a month on a sunday we all have a big roast dinner. which i Enjoy making.
My cooking tragedies
Pancakes! Me & my younger Sister were making pancakes, we had the oil on to high as we poured the mix in the pan it set alight, setting the ceiling on fire. Was funny thinking back on it. I remember Making cheese on toast, as i took the cheese out i saw a plate, what i thought to be cheese grated, there wasn't a lot on the plate so i thought i use this bit & grater some more. Once it was cooked, the cheese i used from the plate hadn't melted properly. Anyway i took a bite & i found it to be a bit chewee, it was only when i could smell lemon, that i relised i had used the lemon peel that was left on the plate. So unstead of cheese on toast it was more lemoncheese peel on toast. yuk!
