Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
Absolutely delicious and easy!! On Sunday afternoon I wanted to cook something in my crockpot for the week ahead, by the time I decided to try this chicken recipe it was 3:30 so I thought, I'll cook it and at least it will be ready by around 8:00 pm then I'll have something ready for tomorrow. well I skinned the chicken thighs and put them in the crockput then put a can of tomatoe soup in a bowl and mixed in the soya sauce less then 1/4 cup and used 1/4 cup of brown sugar chopped up two cloves and maybe about 3 tbsp of minced onion, and sliced thin about 4 small carrots, stirred it all together poured it over the chicken gave that a stir. and had the pot on high....checked it at 7:30 and the meat looked purfect!! cooked some rice, and wow! within 31/2 hours we were eating a wonderful tasty dinner, my sons loved it! I have a rather finicky 3 year old, and he loved this dinner! My 7 year old asked for 2nds!! I have a few pieces and lots of gravy left over for tomorrows meal, Thank you so much for sharing this recipe and for all the little additional ideas....

Barbecue Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Sticky and yummy! I used wings and legs, about 2.5 pds, and only used 1/2 the ingredients for the sauce. I didn't find this too sweet at all...I used less ketchup and hunny. I also just baked the chicken for about 1/2 hour then added the sauce stired it all up and baked for another 1/2 hour in a 320 degree oven, the meat just fell off the bones! So yummy! Thanks!

Pineapple Grilled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
This was a great sauce for chicken, I didn't have any pork chops just chicken breasts...so I pan fried the chicken in a little oil. Then poured the sauce over the chicken pieces and popped the pan in the oven for about 45 minutes, delicious!! served with white rice and corn kernels....The kids loved this dinner, very yummy.....

Great recipe! I improvised a little, just cause I didn't have all the ingredients. I used 1 packet of gravy mix, and about 2 cups of low salt chicken broth instead of water, I used frozen long green beans and through in about a 1/2 c. of mixed veggies (frozen), I also through in a teaspoon of minced garlic, basil, and some worchesire sauce, through the meat and veggie and gravy mixture into a casserole dish and topped it with a generous amount of grated cheddar on top of the mashed the potatoes........yummy! my little boys loved it, even my youngest son that is quite picky, both had 2 helpings! Thanks for a great recipe!

Oven Stew II

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2006
i made this yesterday, I was very happy with the results! so quick, easy and tasty!! i used frozen peas and carrots about a cup and a half and this worked out great, although i still used about 3 fresh cutup carrots as well! my 18 year old vegetarian sun loved the flavour the carrots had (he picked them out of the left over stew) there was very little left over though! anyway i probably only cooked the stew at 375 for bout 45 minutes and it started to lose a lot of liquid by then everything was nicely cooked and ready to eat. so i didn't bother adding more liquid, delicious on a wet and cold night! the little bit of left over was great (even with out the carrots!) thanks!

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2006
I just made this tonight for dinner, and I was quite impressed! I had chicken thighs in the fridge and not knowing what to cook for dinner, but wanting something quick, easy, light and tasty, I checked out allrecipes and found this very simple recipe. I took other reviews advise and added spices to the plain breadcrumbs, such as oregano, pepper flakes, cayanne and salt and pepper, also to keep it light I used plain yogurt and added about 2 tablespoons of light miracle whip (all I had in the fridge no Mayo) I cooked this for 30 minutes and found it cooked perfect, very juicy and tender!! I served this with Corn niblets, the (frozen kind) very delicious!!! even my 19 month old enjoyed this dish!! next time I will try with parmesanan or mozzarella sprinkled on top. Also I enjoyed the crispiness on the bottom of the pieces chicken pieces. Thank you for the recipe!.

Pork Tenderloin Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
Nice and easy, a little bland, but that's probably because I left out some key ingredients, such as the sugar, vinegar, mushrooms and sour cream, due to my 7 year old son being rather fussy. I mashed potatoes and served the pork, veggies, and gravy over them (I loved the creamy gravy this made)! For veggies, I only had carrots, a tiny bit of onion, orange peppers, and towards the end I sprinkled in some frozen carrots and peas, the peas were great! I will make this again, and add some other veggies. p.s. I only had basil and not tarragon. Thank you for a great recipe!

Bandito Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Awesome! The kids loved these....even my 6 year old son who doesn't like anything spicy. surprisingly I had all the ingredients, even the taco sauce, I even squeezed the last little bit of french dressing out of the bottle! I used a lot of tabasco sauce, at least a tsp. It still could have been hotter! but I had to keep the 6 year old in mind. I did make an additional batch of just barbequed wings to have with these hot wings, in case he didn't want the hot wings...(he enjoyed both) I baked the wings in the oven first at 375 for 20 mins. And only used about a tbsp. of margarine in the sauce, it was still very tasty! This recipe is a keeper! My oldest son, said it tasted like we had ordered it from a restaurant! I served it with rice and corn, yummy! Thanks for sharing!

Quick Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Juicy, Tender and light tasting, not heavy, and so simple to prepare! I used chicken thighs, and 1/2 can of 28 oz tomatoes, which I mashed a tiny bit, cause I didn't have diced tomatoes on hand. I used 3 carrots, 1/2 zuccini and 1/2 large red pepper. I browned the chicken first then added the onion and garlic, cooked for a few minutes before adding the tomatoes, veggies and spices, simmered for about 1/2 hour and served over rice...great chicken recipe!! thanks!

Pork Tenderloin with Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
This was awesome! I followed the recipe closely, with a couple of minor changes, I used red wine vinegar instead of balsamic, added a splash of soy sauce, and about a 1/4 cup of chicken broth. I browned the strip of tenderloin then added onion and stirred until the onion was caramelized then added the gravy sauce to the frying pan, and added thinly sliced carrots and chopped broccoli, the gravy thickened up nicely! We had this over fetticini, it was delicious! My 11 year old son loved this! My picky 7 year old ate most of his, this will be added to my recipe box! Very tasty, quick and easy!!

Zesty Beef Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
The horseradish was a bit strange tasting for my taste buds, and way too much onion, the gravy was like onion, horseradish gravy! I chopped up about a little more than a medium onion. My sons, loved this, they both had seconds! My six year old ate all his pieces of beef, so that's always a good sign...next time I'll use less horseradish and onion, also the beef was a little on the dry side. I will keep this recipe, but just use less onion and horseradish.

Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
Fantastic!! Just made a couple of minor changes cause I didn't have everything on hand. I didn't have enough brown sugar so I split brown & white, I didn't have ground ginger so I grated up fresh. I used apple cider vinegar... and cooked for about 40 minutes basting every 10 minutes, turned out perfect! My two (9 & 5 year old) little boys loved it! my 5 year old is especially finicky, ate his whole piece of chicken! I served this with white rice and niblet corn....yummy! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!
