Everyone else loved it. I thought is was OK...nothing spectacular. It was very moist. Could use some nuts or dried fruits and maybe some more spice.

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
The turkey was good. But there wasn't that much difference between it and how I normally roast a turkey. The gravey it made was GREAT!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
Cheese cake is always wonderful, as was this one. But there just wasn't much "pumpkin" flavor... I did use fresh mashed pumpkin vs. canned... maybe that was the difference.

Shredded Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
These were great! I used walnut instead of pine nuts. Even my dad, who hates brussesls sprouts, liked theses. Not how I would fix them for eery day (not too healthy), but good for a special dinner.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
Good. Very yummy to snack on, but...it didn't have anything that jumped out at me as being special. It was just a nice quick bread. I'll make it again, but I may have to add someting to give it that extra flare.

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
These were great! Even my 3yr old ate them:-) We did fry them and served them with cocktail sauce. Oh..didn't have old bay seasoning...I'll try it next time. I did salt the grated zucchini and press the water out of them for 20 min before making the cakes. They were still a little watery, but not bad.

Butter Tart Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
This was very tasty. I used mixed dried friut instead of rasins. Although I really did enjoy the cake, it was nothing to write home about... I don't think using just rasins would have made a difference. There just wans't that special "something".

Mmmmmmmm! These were much better than I thought that they would be. The whole batch was gone in 2 days. I used crunchy peanut butter...they might even be better with some whole nuts thrown in.

This was gross. After one bite, no one would eat any more of it. Even the kids didn't like it...and they eat almost anything! Don't waste the ingredients.

Husband really liked this. I thought that it was OK... I used saltines versus cornflakes. Maybe with more cheese and salsa. It was lacking something.

No-Fuss Cinnamon Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 21, 2007
Oh my! So easy (not usually what I go for). Followed the recipe. Would also be good with fruit in it. But really, it is perfect on its own. I froze individual pieces of this. If not, it would have been gone in an afternoon (and there are only 2 of us).... Dangerous:-)

Very good chocolate cake. Very moist. So easy my 3yr old helped make it (he stirred). But...it was nothing "spectacular". Note: it took longer than 30 min to cook through.
