About this Cook
I started cooking on a regular basis in 2000. When my husband and I got married and bought our first home in 2005, I began to cook even more. Now I cook 5-7 meals per week which is challenging since we both work full-time and I am getting my MBA at night & on weekends. But, I do love cooking- it's great stress relief.
My favorite things to cook
I also really enjoy cooking new things. Variety is the spice of life. If it doesn't turn out good the first time and I don't know why, I'll toss that recipe and try another one.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My husband I will both select a new dish for me to cook at the beginning of the month. This way we get great variety and I get to try new recipes!
My cooking triumphs
I like to cook big meals. I hosted my first Thanksgiving in 2005 for 11 people- and it was challenging but manageable and I can't wait to host another big family event.

Rachel's Turkey Loaf
This was the first time I'd ever made any kind of meat loaf- and this recipe was very easy to follow. The turkey loaf was fantastic- tender, flavorful, and my husband thought it was beef!
