My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! I love pretty desserts and just about anything chocolate. I love to create in the kitchen. I love making Pasta Carbonara. My favorite! Plus I know it will taste great. I also love making Gnocchi.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I remember as a little girl making fresh pasta noodles with my mom. Whether it be fettuccine or cavatelli, it was always so fun & I am so happy that I have those memories. My mom makes awesome bread, pasta sauce, all Italian food in general. She even makes some great American Food as well.
My cooking triumphs
Pasta Carbonara, Pasta Sauce, Gnocchi and anything pretty much that is dessert or Italian. I make great Baked Sweet Potatoes and Sweet Potato Casserole and a Fudge Truffle Cheesecake! Also Monterous Gourmet Caramel Apples!
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedy is once I made a Sugar Free Cheesecake for my mom because she is diabetic (a family inheritance) so I was about 14 when I made it and normally I make pretty good things, but I made it from a recipe and it was absolutely unedible! Blah!

Aunt Anne's Sesame Cookies
ONE WORD.... AMAZING!!!! They are perfect not changed at all! Make them as written and they are exactly like the cookies I grew up on! Truly Authentic Italian Cookies! Thank You for posting this! I bought Sesame Seeds from my grocer's bakery. They were cheap too! This recipe will be a staple! Thank your friend for me!

Camp Cornbread
I really liked this! I doubled the recipe and then added fontina cheese on top and let it melt in the warm oven. It was soooo good! My daughter who's 4 loved it and so did my husband. Reminded me of a Cheese on a stick (Corn Dog but with cheese instead of a hot dog) It's a huge carnival yummy! YUMM! Thanks!

I loved the ricotta filling, but I added a small amount of vanilla, 1 teaspoon.
