These are AWESOME! I used the Bar-s classic smoked sausages with cheese for the franks and they came out perfect! The batter poofed into a light, crisp and oh so delicious corn bread coating. Next time we make this we will however need to make a larger batch as the basic recipe only made enough to coat 7 of those sausages, and that was pushing it. We plan on experimenting with the batter a bit, maybe make it just a TAD thinner, although as it is, I love it, my hubby is just one that MUST fiddle lol
