Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2014
Much easier than I expected! Delicious. Everyone LOVED it! I was intimidated by the pasta in broth, but it was easy! Also baked chicken, cuz that was easy. Added the asparagus, as photo, a little to late to the broth, cuz that was easy...that was ok to do right? I was following recipe, I thought that part might have been left out. Thanks for a great recipe! I'll be using it over and over. Loved it! (Can't lie, I didn't have heavy cream, so I used light cream, didn't have rotelle, used elbows. Can't wait to try it with rotelle, but think I'll stick to light cream.)

Parsley and Parmesan Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Delicious AND simple! Kept tenderloin moist. Cooked a little longer, but maybe my roast was bigger. My husband loved it, as did I. Thanks

Creamed Peas and Onions

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
Rave reviews from my family, including a picky vegetarian! I did micro the peas first, just automatic. I forgot to buy fresh onions, so used a jar! They turned out great. Easy, flavorful! Thanks for a new (easy) Thanksgiving side.

Lentil Soup with Lemon

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
ITS THE LEMON!!! I've been making lentil soup for years, but this one takes the cake!!! I took another reviewers advice for ketchup in lieu of tomatoe paste, used both chicken broth and vegetable broth, with good results. Have made it several times now, using a variety of leftovers (mini-potatoes, leftover squash, tomatoes, chopped carrots, brocolli, etc), with excellent results. Have increased liquid, not bothered blending...its all good! Thanks for a great recipe!

Another WOW!!! My family loves this dish. It's quick, easy, and delicious. I did go with sour cream/mayo mix, have made it with both frozen and canned artichokes. Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
Wow! I was hesitant, but what a great way to cook a turkey breast! I like to have 'leftover' turkey after spending the holidays at other family homes. This is a great way to cook a turkey while we are out, and come home to a nice, moist bird. No danger of drying out. I did omit the dry soup mix, just added some celery and carrots to the bottom of the pot. You have to try this!

Easiest Pot Roast Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
Easy, delicious, no browning. Don't have bouillon cubes? Just cook it in plain water. This is a super easy recipe. My husband and I both loved it. Leftovers? Warm up for beef stew, didn't even need to thicken! Thanks for a great recipe!

Lemon Thyme Swordfish with Asparagus

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
Yes, a very simple & elegant meal! The swordfish was like butter, subtle flavors. I did use sour cream, because it was what I had on hand...but is such a quick, easy recipe, I had to give it 5 stars. Thanks.

Hamburgers and Ketchup Gravy

This is a fun recipe, glad to have tried it, but don't think I'll use it again. Kinda sweet and soury for our tastes, but it was fun to try. Thanks!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
A great recipe! Of course I've played around with it, according to what I have in the house. The first time I made it, I followed someone's advice and doubled up on the burritos when layering, but found it's not necessary. Thanks for a new family favorite!

Frosted Grapes

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
Made these for New Years Eve. I didn't read the recipe right, and FROZE (Frosted) the grapes. First time I had frozen grapes, and they were great! Can't wait for summer! Guests, including little kids loved them...I thought they were a little too yucky sweet!

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
Good base, and I'm grateful for it! I searched for any easy stroganoff, with lots of stars! I made it as directed...EXCEPT for the soup. I don't like using cans of soup, used beef broth instead, happened to have some leftover red wine, and used 1/2sour cream and 1/2 block cream cheese. It was great! Thanks again!

Oatmeal Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: May 26, 2006
Love these muffins! The only thing I changed was used grape seed oil (all I had!), and slightly less sugar. They don't last the day! If using paper liners, remove to rack to avoid sticking
