I love eating good food that's freshly made and doesn't contain any whacky packaged stuff! I've been cooking since I was 11 and haven't stopped since! Back then, I mostly made fresh soups and ice cream. Now, I love making Asian and Indian soups, stews and curries. My husband and eldest daughter love fish so I'm trying to find good fish recipes that we can all enjoy. Growing up, my mum's cooking was always excellent, so much so, it was better than eating out. My Dad always cooks bacon and eggs served on my mum's wheaten bread on Christmas morning - a great tradition in our house. Now, my husband takes charge of the weekend fry-ups. It would have to be my lemon souffles and profiteroles, but I don't get as much time as I'd like to cook desserts anymore. Hopefully, that'll change as my two girls get a little older and want to learn how to cook. Leaving things in the top oven of the aga! Ah well, I love my aga and don't ever want to part with it so I'll put up with burning things now and again!
