Excellent recipe. I added peapods and water chestnuts, as well as a touch of garlic. My family was fighting over who got to take the leftovers!

Ham Tetrazzini

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
Very good, but was a little dry, so I added a can of cream of mushroom soup. Also added a can of peas. Topped it all off with cheddar cheese. My husband loved it!

We loved this recipe, and I didn't have to tweak it at all! We sliced the leftovers and froze them, heated up wonderfully!

Cherry Fluff

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
Absolutely fantastic recipe. It's easy and can be tailored to suit many tastes. I add pineapple, marshmallows and chopped walnuts. I also use a quart of homemade cherry pie filling instead of store bought. YUMMY!

This was pretty good, but next time I will add more garlic and maybe more soy sauce...will definitely make again though!

Gramma Brown's Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
My husband loved this chowder. I made a few changes, I used 1 pound of bacon, added a couple cloves of garlic, and seasoned with red pepper flakes and white pepper. I also used corstarch to thicken the stew instead of the flour mixture. All the changes I made were really just for personal preference. I'm sure the chowder would be just as excellent in its original recipe! Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Pumpkin Cookies V

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
Very good. These were a big hit. I followed the recipe exactly and it made a ton of cookies. Way more than I thought. Next time I will cut the recipe in half, but definitely a big hit at Halloween with my family!

Chocolate-Covered Cherry Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
I've been making this recipe for years. They are a big hit with my family. My brother comes home every Christmas just for these cookies. Very sweet, but that's how we like it! I often double the recipe to make a large batch. A lot of work, but definitely worth it. I also frost the cookies before baking, makes it a little easier!

Very sweet, but very good. Will definitely make again. I like the cream cheese in it to give it more of a cheesecake taste.

Irish Cream Truffle Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
Absolutely, positively FANTASTIC fudge recipe. I did only semisweet chips for the bottom layer and white chocolate chips for the top layer. Covered the whole thing with red, white and green sprinkles for Christmas. Will definitely be adding this to my Christmas repertoire!

French Apple Cream Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2006
Wonderful twist on the everyday apple pie. I used my grandmother's home canned apple pie filling, and added nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and some lemon zest to the cream mixture. I made two of these pies and both were demolished instantly!

Priceless Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2006
I'd give this 10 stars if I could. Wonderful change from the usual pecan pie. You must make this in a deep dish pie plate, because there is a lot of filling. I also didn't follow the recipe exactly. I like how the pecan halves llok, so I did not chop them, also I poured them into the corn syrup mixture and stirred them up before pouring onto the cream cheese layer. From the top, looked like a regular pecan pie, but with a delightful surprise on the bottom. My family voted and wants me to only make this pecan pie from now on. Not as sweet as the traditional, but defintely good and rich. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Honey Flaked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2006
Okay, I tweaked it a bit, but it was still awesome! I added some garlic powder to the honey/milk mixture, but I love garlic, as does my husband. I add garlic to almost everything! I will definitely make this again. I flipped it with about 10 minutes to go, and it wasn't soggy at all. Thanks for a great recipe!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Fantastic recipe. My mom swears it cured her cold. I only had 1/2 pound Italian sausage, so I added some chicken breast to make 1 lb of meat. I used garlic and spinach tortellini, very yummy! Thanks for a wonderful recipe, I will be making this often!
