Korean Beef Short Rib Stew (Galbi Jjim)

This was very good! I omitted the dates, chestnuts, and corn syrup. I used a little extra brown sugar instead. I boiled the short ribs in the water and then transferred it and all my ingredients to the crock pot, where I cooked it on high for about 5 hours. I cooked it for a half hour longer with the lid off and added a little cornstarch slurry to the broth to thicken it up a bit before serving. This one is a keeper for my family!

Fluffy Biscuit Muffins

Loved these! Easy, fast and make super fluffy biscuits. I tripled the recipe for lunch today. They were a big hit and went great with my beef stew! No leftovers with these!

Pani Popo (Hawaiian Coconut Bread)

So good! I made a few changes: I added 5 tbsp sweetened condensed milk instead of three and used 3/4 cup sugar. I also used a 13.5oz can of coconut milk. I used 12 frozen dinner rolls to fill the 9x13 inch pan - 6 is too few. I also topped it with flaked coconut before baking. Very yummy! Thanks!

Golden Potato Soup

This is a great base, but I found it needed some tweaking to get to my liking. I add garlic and use bacon instead of ham. Thanks for the recipe!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Pecan Pie Muffins

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because of the difficulty trying to get these out of the pan in one piece, even though I used nonstick pans and greased them generously. Next time I will try the spray with flour. Otherwise, we ate all of them, broken or not :)

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

I made the muffins exactly as stated, but they came out looking rather unattractive and though they tasted good, were heavy and somewhat dense. I made this a second time, and prepared the cake mix according to package directions, and it was fantastic! Very moist and airy and flavorful. I do not know which way these were itended to be made, but I would recommend preparing the cake mix as directed before adding the pumpkin and spices. I also stirred in some walnuts to give it a nice crunch.

Barbeque Halibut Steaks

Absolutely fabulous! I had no halibut left, and there were only two people that were eating fish! I brushed the sauce on the halibut before and throughout cooking. Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Sausage and Apple Stuffing

Pretty good. I had never had apple and sausage stuffing before and I enjoyed the flavor. I used almonds instead of water chestnuts, because hubby doesn't like water chestnuts. Next time I will use water chestnuts and make hubby pick them out.

This was pretty good. I had never made duck before, so I might have not done it right, but it was kinda tough and the skin never got crispy. The flavor, however was excellent and I will try and make this again sometime.

Dee's Special Chicken

This was just okay. It smelled great while cooking, but the flavor was a bit bland for me. My husband thought the beer taste was too strong, I didn't think it was strong enough. The chicken was very tender, and I added carrots, onions, and potatoes and a can of chicken broth. I might make it again, but would probably only use 6 oz. of beer and add some more seasonings to jazz it up a bit.

Broccoli Casserole III

I loved this recipe! I added some shredded carrots to the broccoli and melted everything in the micro and stirred it up well before topping with the crackers. Used roasted vegetable crackers for the topping. Yum!

Sweetheart Brownie Sundae
