Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2010
This is a really quick, versital recipe that needs a little doctorin', but it's great! We did a heavier noodle. Added garlic powder, onion powder, garlic salt, red pepper flake and used chicken broth, plus we had no cheddar, so we added mozzarella, swiss and some cream cheese! I loved the fact the could pull it together with stuff we had handy. Yummy, thanks.

Perfect!! We didn't change a thing. Thought it was a little sweet at first taste, but it worked itself out after simmering! Absolutely a great recipe. Don't alter! Thanks Al!

Delicious! Use the caraway and fennel seeds, but you can substitute other things. We used bok choy instead of leek. This soup is delicious!

What a great sandwich and so healthy! We didn't have lettuce, but made it otherwise just like the recipe. YUMMY! Cut your cucumber slices thin!

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
Made for Christmas dinner today and we loved it! Really easy. We had a smaller roast so we adjusted the cooking time because we like it pretty rare, but I used the same proportions for the rub ingredients. We believe you can't over garlic anything, so I probably used twice the amount of garlic. Thanks alot for this one. We will be using again!

Middle Eastern Rice with Black Beans and Chickpeas

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
Excellent! The rice took a little longer to cook due to the rice to liquid ratio, but so very worth it! Can't wait to turn this into something mexican later in the week. We loved this and so healthy. Thanks.

This was so great. We subbed the shallot for green onion, added ginger and used half brown sugar and half splenda. Incredibly good. Thanks.

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
We just made this using the 18 hour crockpot method with the potatoes and cabbage under the meat (used the seasoning packet too). FANTASTIC corned beef..potatoes were a little too sweet. Such an easy and absolutely succulent corned beef recipe. Thanks so much!

Thai Peanut Chicken

I doubled the sauce like the reviewers said, but it was still kind of bland. When we added alot of Thai Chili Sweet and Hot sauce, it tasted pretty good. Won't do this one again.

Avocado Tzatziki

We used plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream, so maybe that's why this had such a weird tang to it. Will go with the sour cream next time. The mint and cilantro flavors are wonderful.

What a great combination of flavors! Add red pepper flake if you like some heat and take the skin off the chicken. It's sweet, oniony, and a little spicy..a definite try! Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken Pot Pie Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
This is a delicious, quick, comfort soup. Needs a little salt and pepper, otherwise we made as stated and added bisquick reduced fat dumplings on top. Not necessary though. Great on a crisp fall day like today in Michigan! Thanks for this recipe, we'll definitely use it alot, even week nights because it's so easy. Oh - make sure you thaw the bag of vegetables.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
All I know is if you want to follow the recipe exactly but use Jennie O's ground turkey and hot italian turkey sausage instead, it's really not that great. There's some weird taste going on with it and it can't be the turkey because we've subbed it for beef before in other chili recipes that came out wonderful. We didn't care for this at all. Sorry.

Fantastic! Add a little cayenne for spice if you want. We tried to bake it, but it was a little mushy, so we finished it with frying. Wonderful!

Souvlaki

I'm trying to watch my salt intake, so I substituted white wine for the soy. WOW! So very easy, good and versatile. I marinated a couple of hours..could have used more, but I was worried about the lemon juice cooking the pork. I would say I'll marinate for 4-6 hours next time. Thank you for the recipe!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
This is so wonderful! Make sure you do the salt and pat very dry for the eggplant method. Bake at 450 for 5 min and flip and go for another 5 min. This makes the eggplant crispy, like it's fried. I use the new Ragu Light sauce and I only needed 1 big eggplant cut in about 1/4 inch rounds. Great recipe! Thank you!

Wow, what a great sauce. Use less butter and/or more lime juice. I think I'm going to try it on baked fish. Thank you so much for this recipe. UPDATE:Used this sauce with baked fish...so incredible. Still using less better for health reasons.
