Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
My daughter made these for a bake sale last year. They were a huge hit for the people with pets and they've been requested again for this year!

Crescent Wrapped Brie

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2012
I had brie and crescent rolls, so decided to give this a try. What I did, though, was cut the brie into small wedges and roll each one in a crescent roll. Then I spread a bit of cherry preserves on top. Excellent! Also, much faster and only took about 10 minutes to bake.

Butter Snow Flakes

Delicious! I almost skipped the orange zest, but I'm glad I didn't. It really adds to the cookie.

Chicken Tinga Tostados

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Delicious! I used a whole bag of frozen boneless chicken breast and two cans of diced tomatoes, cooked up all the onions and garlic, blended the whole can of peppers, and dumped all ingredients into the crock pot together. When the chicken was cooked, I pulled it out and pulsed it a bit in the food processor. Then we topped the tostados with refried beans, lettuce, the chicken, thin sliced avocado, sour cream, and shredded cheese. It is not even close to being too spicy for me or the kids. It came out just perfect!

Hawaiian Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 14, 2011
I haven never liked chicken salad but this was amazing! The flavors came together perfectly and everyone loved it. I did use grilled chicken in breast in place of canned and I served them on Hawaiian rolls.

Creamy Watermelon Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
Tastes like a Jolly Rancher! This was so easy to make and taste great. I could eat just the filling, but I think the watermelon pieces and the crust kept it from being too sweet.

Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
As written, this recipe did not work for me. The burgers were too "wet" and oozed down between the grill grates. They made a huge mess of the grill! I added about 1/4 cup of bread crumbs and tried again and they were amazing! I think maybe no egg and they would have been ok.

As written, this recipe does not work. It is way too dry and I had to add water.

Pepperoni Pizza Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
I made these with cheddar cheese and a pizza blend cheese, used canned olives, and everything else exactly the same. They are really good! The kids love them. I made some as mini muffins for them to snack on. I ended up with 1 dozen mini and 1 dozen regular muffins from this recipe.

Quick Calzones

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
These were so good! The kids devoured them! I did alter the recipe though. Here is what I did: 1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Roll over the crescent rolls a bit to flatten them out. 3. Do not put sauce inside. I used jarred pizza sauce to dip them in when done. 4. Bake 10 minutes, then flip them over and bake for 5 more. The came out golden brown all over!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Perfect! I was hunting for a recipe that only needed one egg, because that is all we had. What I found is the best sugar cookie recipe I ever tried! I rolled them into balls and then my kids rolled them into different things before we baked them: sugar, sprinkles, cinnamon, mini chocolate chips. One little tip, I thought it mixed better by hand, with a wooden spoon, than with a mixer.
