I baked my daughter's wedding cake and I was so proud of it because it was beautiful and tasted delicious. I practiced making roses for months before the wedding, and I was able to make perfect roses for the cake.
My cooking tragedies
I decided to bring some culture into my cooking, so I made Pork Chops Parisienne, which called for plums with the pork chops. It was presented beautifully, but it tasted terrible.
No one wanted to say anything, so I said, "This didn't turn out like I thought it would." My family breathed a sigh of relief and we cleared the table for another meal.
