Nancy's Chicken in Puff Pastry

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
The children and I thought this was delicious. However, my husband peeled off the puff pastry and picked at the chicken. I gave the recipe 4 stars because it is good. However, because of the extra work involved with the puff pastry, will probably save it for impressing company.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
My husband is not a fan of anything chicken, however, he went back for seconds tonight. I gave the recipe 4 stars because I added garlic and herb seasoning to the cracker mixture and a dash maybe two of hot sauce to the egg mixture. This doesn't make it too spicy but gives it added flavor. My children loved this chicken. I will be adding this to our monthly menus.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
OH!! These are delicious. I make a lot of muffins and these are by far the best. I made them by the recipe except I doubled the topping. Because of previous reviews, I was a little concerned about the cream cheese filling being "soupy". However, mine was not soupy at all. I got 18 muffins and they cooked 25 minutes on 375. Oh, I can't wait until tomorrow to eat one, or maybe TWO with my coffee. My daughter and I have already had 1 1/2 each and they have barely had time to cool. This is a keeper recipe for sure!!

We had this with baked potato and salad. I thought I was eating a steak at a fancy restaurant! The only thing missing was the dessert!!

Brown Sugar Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
Wow, this is great. I didn't have any day old bread. I used a box stuffing mix and prepare the stuffing by using 1 cup of chicken broth and the butter suggested. I was also out of onions, but didn't miss them because the stuffing had some in it. I added the seasoning and one cup chicken broth to my stuffing once done. I also put the seasoning and some salt on the chops. I cut the brown sugar and butter in half. My husband and 10yr old were fighting over the bones!! This was great. Just the right sweetness.
