Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies
My cookies rolled easily into balls, looked just like the picture. I didn't like the texture at all. They were neither chewy nor crunchy, more crumbly. The only way I can think to describe it is like a super stale, heavy, grainy biscuit. The flavor was pretty good, but I think I will stick with the flourless pb cookie recipes from now on.

Currant Cardamom Bread Pudding
Truly a special recipe. I didn't change a thing! The spice combination is delicious, and the currants are wonderfully festive. (Raisins would be fine, in a pinch, but currants give more of a kick.) I also made a whiskey sauce to top the pudding when serving. (1/2 c butter, 1/2 c sugar, 1/2 c heavy cream, 1/4 c whiskey: heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Done. Super easy and great on bread puddings.) I made this pudding for Christmas dinner and could not have chosen a more perfect dessert. Everyone loved it. I will be making currant and cardamom bread pudding for years to come... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS RECIPE :)

Beef on Weck
We dip the bottom side of the top roll in au jus and just serve with horseradish. This recipe was just what I needed. My Buffalonian boyfriend was overjoyed :) Thank you.
