Caramel Apple Dip
Meh, it was okay. On the advice of other reviewers, I upped the caramel count by about a quarter, and it still wasn't overly caramel-y. I love caramel, cream cheese and brown sugar, but the flavors just didn't come together well for me, despite being smooth and well-mixed. An 8 year old, two parents and a grandparent all agreed that it was okay-- i.e. it's not horrible but I'll be searching for a different recipe for next time. This made a lot-- perhaps we'll try the left-overs over ice cream.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic
Yummy! After going through the previous reviews I omitted the flouring step, doubled the sauce (which, when poured over the chicken, pasta and green beans, was the perfect, light, amount), and after tasting the sauce I added about a teaspoon of sugar at the very end to cut the bitterness a bit. Turned out fantastically. My husband kept raving "I think these are the best mushrooms I've ever had!"

Hawaiian Tarts
I will absolutely use liners next time, as getting these out was a nightmare! I tried both the suggestions and the recipe's guide, and both were a disaster-- leaving much of the tart in the tin no matter what I tried. I was mortified. However, the taste was excellent and they were still the first thing gone at my luau!
