Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
This was my first time brining meat. I brined a turkey breast and it came out moist with a nice flavor. I put it in a stock pot and left outside overnight since it was cold and couldn't fit into the fridge. I also put the stock pot in a trash bag and tied it tight, since I was a bit paranoid about birds finding my turkey. When my dad ate some the next day, he commented on how delicious it was and he always brines his turkeys. Thanks for the recipe!

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2006
Nice change! Cook the salmon based on the thickness of the meat. I overcooked mine a bit at 10 minutes, but I enjoyed the glaze. I used honey mustard instead of dijon since I didn't have any on hand.

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2006
I, too, made these for Valentine's day for my husband who is a chocaholic. I got rave reviews! Even though I sprayed the paper cups, the cake still stuck a bit. I think next time I'll try the ramekins instead. Great recipe that I'll definitely make again, especially when entertaining! Quick and Easy!

Easy Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
My husband really enjoyed this dish, but I grew up on my parent's red beans and rice which was thicker, and more flavorful. I wasn't a huge fan of the gr. peppers and tomatoes in my red beans and rice, but since my husband loved it, I'll give it 4 stars. Plus it was easy to make. I think I'll go back to soaking and cooking my beans as that route is more flavorful to me than canned beans.

Pasta de Sardine

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
I used 4 cloves garlic and sardines in olive oil (drained), and 4 TB tomato and basil pasta sauce. My husband (who is not a fish fan) absolutely loved it! I loved not only the taste, but it was very quick to prepare!
