Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2013
I followed the recipe as is. I cannot get steak seasoning where I live so I made my own. That is the only thing I did differently. I marinated it for two hours due to timing but I bet this would be even better if left to marinate over night. My husband barely got seconds as our three kids were literally scarfing it down. He thought there might be some left for a 'midnight snack' - not a chance. Each of the kids (2 girls, 8 &10 and boy, 5) asked for it again. I served it with potatoes and carrots and a loaf of Italian bread.

Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
This was a great recipe! The only change I made was to the second batch. I filled the second batch as I normally would for a muffin or cupcake. The first batch when filled to the top over flowed and made a mess. These were a fantastic hit with the family. My oldest daughter ate 3! Thank you for sharing.

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
YUM! These were a great hit with my family. I did not make the syrup (didn't have ingredients). The pancake is not as sweet as I was expecting it to be. I imagine they would be perfect with the syrup!! Based on other reviews I did add more cinnamon. I also added 1/3 cup of finely chopped oatmeal - it seems to fill my kids more. I also added a tsp. of vanilla and a dash of nutmeg. I used the small cookie scoop to measure out batter. I got 22 pancakes. Enough for seconds for the kids and a few leftovers for a snack later. Thank you, Brenda for a great recipe!!

Pumpkin Roll Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
This was the first time i had attempted to make a roll cake. I followed the ingredient list exactly - the flavor was very good. I used a Pampered Chef jelly roll pan, lightly oiled it with olive oil, laid down parchment paper, sprayed it with baking spray. I had no trouble getting it out of the pan. I rolled the cake in a sugared tea towel (the tip regarding wax paper/plastic wrap holding in moisture was helpful) let it cool and had no trouble with it sticking to the towel. My family loved this - it may just become a traditional dessert next to the apple and pumpkin pies. Thank you for a great dessert.

Peppermint Snowballs

GREAT COOKIE! My 4 year old & I just finished baking a batch. Our batch made about 4.5 dozen. I followed the cookie recipe exact but used a different glaze for the cookie (hence the 4 stars). All 5 of us LOVE this cookie! Thanks for a great recipe.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
I made a double batch of these muffins today (some for now & some for the freezer). They turned out GREAT! Moist and yummy. I did add vanilla and cinnamon to the batter and substituted oil for the melted butter (I didn't have enough butter). Other than that I followed the recipe. Thank you for a great banana muffin recipe.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
Thank you, Deb! I needed to make a meal for 20 people and decided to make chili. I decided to give your recipe a shot. It was a HIT! I thought I would have enough left over to at least have one more meal...negative - there was not a drop of chili left. My mom wants to make it now for a Superbowl party. I am now adjusting the recipe to feed 25.
