Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
This is a great recipe! I use this for our cookie recipe as well. For the filling, we use our homemade cream cheese frosting. The cream cheese goes well with the pumpkin! No changes to this recipe, a keeper for sure! We omit the clove, hubby hates clove.

Cheesy Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
This was a good dish but made some changes. I only had pene noodles so next time I would add a bit more milk and cheese. Not as moist as I would have liked. Also, I would add more garlic salt and onion salt for sure. Before adding the bread crumbs I sprinkled some mozarella, just for more cheese. And I don't like velveta so I used shredded cheddar. Will use again! Thanks

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
This was my 16 year old son's first meal to cook for the family! He followed the directions exactly and used a few of the suggestions from the reviews. We used swiss, and virginia deli ham, and a light coating of egg brushed on it. We used the sauce that another view mentioned, cream of chicken soup and 1 cup of sour cream. Make sure to add the sour cream after the soup has been heated thru. This was excellent! He was very proud of himself!

Thanksgiving Asparagus Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
This recipe was good. I used fresh asparagus, used 1/2 cup sharp cheese, and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. I had to bake it longer than 20 mins, about 35 mins. It was very rich tasting, I would even just use cheddar cheese next time. But definitely worth cooking again. Thanks!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
DID NOT LIKE THESE!! Not much peanut butter flavor and couldn't taste oatmeal. I did use 1 cup of butter due to not having shortening, but that should have made the cookie taste better. I will just stick to my own recipe! It helped to add butterscotch morsels, and choc chips, but still didn't care for them!
