Jalapeno Pepper Jelly

Easy to make and delicious. I used 4 fresh jalapenos (with seeds) in place of the canned ones and skipped the cayenne and food colouring. I thought the jars looked perfectly lovely without the colour - sort of a greenish yellow in the jar, that looked colourless and clear when spread.

Oven Roasted Greek Potatoes

So tender and yummy. I used little baby potatoes instead of medium quartered ones; they were pretty tiny so I didn't cook for quite as long. Also I gave them a pretty thorough poking with a fork before marinating. I brushed the leftover marinade over some pita wedges and baked them in the oven too, sooo good!

Icing for Sour Cream Cookies

I was so impressed with how this turned out, given how simple the ingredients were. I swapped out coconut extract for vanilla and it was delicious. Thanks for the recipe!

Aunt Joyce's Chocolate Cake

Love it! Several times during the prep I was sure I'd ruined it...it was alarmingly liquid compared to other cakes I've made, but it rose beautifully and the texture and taste were perfect. I didn't have any white vinegar so I used red wine vinegar and was sure that would ruin it, but I couldn't tell anything was wrong. Very moist and very good. I topped it with coconut flavoured icing and then a layer of shredded coconut and it had a very nice flavour overall. Very different cake for me, but everyone seemed to like it!

Creamy Vegan Corn Chowder

This was okay, but I wasn't crazy about it. Didn't have the corn chowder flavour I was craving; pretty much just tastes like garlic and not much else. It's a decent soup but I'm still looking for a good corn chowder.

Tzatziki Sauce

Love this. Only complaint was that it was a bit runny...will have to try it sometime with the strained greek yogurt as another user suggested. Love the flavour.

Caribbean Chicken

Absolutely love this recipe. I make it without the duck sauce (double the marinara to compensate) and with hot mango chutney instead of mango hot sauce. Deliciously tender and with a sharp kick that isn't too overwhelming.
