About this Cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
Favorite and most stressful traditions: Baking tons of Christmas goodies with my Mom. We make about 15 varieties of candy and cookies, and give them to family and friends.
My cooking tragedies
I made a recipe called "Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Cheese". Sounds easy...I followed it to a T and it came out like chicken breasts floating in scrambled eggs! It was gross!

Steak n Ale Pie
This pie turned out picture perfect. It looked delicious, and my DH and I could hardly wait to dig in. However, it looked far more tasty than it actually was. had added beef boullion to the water for more flavor. Even this did no good. It literally had no flavor at all. will not make this ever again.

Easy Pasta Fagioli
Super simple to make. I love garlic, so I added a total of 4 tsp. of garlic. My husband raved about it. My picky-eating 1 year old loved it too. Made a garden herb bread to go with it, which went very well together. Will definately make this again.

Grilled Salmon I
My husband made this when we had company over. He doesn't like salmon usually. Everyone loved it, and he could not stop bragging about what a good job he did. The marinade reminds me of something you would use for smoked fish.
