Chantal's New York Cheesecake
This recipie is so simple straight forward and easy. I have made NY style cheescakes before and they ALWAYS turned out poorly. I followed this recipie exactly and it turned out PERFECT. It was a gift for my daughter's 14th birthday and she was delighted. The only changes I would make the next time is less flour for a creamier texture and reducing the oven temp to 325 degrees. Mine was a little too brown. I used the blender to mix the eggs into the cream cheese, but I used the whisk to add the sour cream to prevent over mixing. This is a fabulous recipie and an excellent choice for anyone wanting to make an authentic NY style cheesecake. LOVE IT!

Spinach and Bacon Chicken
I love chicken and I love bacon and spinach, but the calories and fat make me wonder about this one because I love my heart too. I will probably try this one but without the bacon fat and dredging in the flour. It will save some calories and fat by using chicken broth and evaporated milk with a cornstarch thickner. I want more seasoning, add some garlic, onion and a little salt and pepper.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
This was really good and easy. I was skeptical about using root beer, but it turned out great. I used a boston butt, becasue the tenderloin is too expensive for this type of meal. I also added, ketchup, a squirt of mustard, brown sugar and hot sauce and onion powder. I let it crock for about 5 hours on high, then 2 more on low and it was so tender. The meat shredded very easily and the taste of the sauce is phenomenal. Use less brown sugar if you don't like a real sweet bbq sauce. Great recipe
